McDonald's — Restaurant in Tuscaloosa

The only reason I am giving two stars instead of one is because the cashier was really kind and helpful to me as I waited about an hour for a plain and dry burger.

First of all I sat for 15 minutes at the drive thru speaker while two people that had arrived behind me had their orders taken in the other lane (strike one). This irritated me, so I decided to park and go inside, where the cashier (I can’t remember her name, but she was very kind) took my order and I waited for my food. I waited about 25 minutes for my order to be ready (I understand there were a lot of orders coming in, so I’m not even mad about that). I take my food to my car and realize both of my orders were made the same, when one was supposed to be plain and dry (it was rang in correctly on the ticket).

When I took my burger in to be remade, the young man working the pickup window just said “double quarter pounder plain,” without actually trying to get anyone’s attention, so I just trusted that it was being made. Turns out nobody heard him so I ended up standing there for another 30 minutes while my food got cold in my car. I had to wave down the manager to make sure my food was being made (it was not). When my burger finally came out 2 minutes later, the bun was cold and the cheese was not even melted.

I work in the service industry myself, and this kind of behavior is absolutely unacceptable. The cooks should be fired or at least have some sort of class about what it means to have a sense of urgency, especially when they make an order incorrectly… and the cashier deserves a promotion as she was the only one who seemed to care that I had been trying to order “fast food” for nearly an hour that ended up being...

Hello my name is Tia I order a hot spicy two triple cheese and a kids meal me and my family order around 2:00 2:15 on November 19 2022 we sat down no more then 4-6 mins a bus full of kids and adults come in and that’s when the crazy began we wait like another ten mins still nothing my husband went up to see what was taken so long but he couldn’t even get to the front of the register they wasn’t calling out any orders they depended on a few adult that didn’t even work there to hand out food for the bus but never called out our number any number at that a few more mins pass I ran out to ask someone from the drive thru didn’t get anything finally my husband made it to someone he asked about our order they ran around trying to figure it out no one know what happen with it ,he asked for an a refund and we received back when did t leave out until 2:40 pm but everything about this location was very unorganized and the team did not handle under pressure I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone I’ve been a GM in restaurants and no one was in control of anything over saw mother no motivation no Spirit at all very disappointed in McDonald’s more so this location

This McDonald's is always busy they got the same order wrong three times in the Drive-Thru when the manager came to the window I explained what happened and she just asked me well what are you missing didn't apologize. Didn't seemed worried at all. Another time I went and was asked to come in from drive thru so I was like sure even though it's raining in January and cold sure why not. Just to go in and get treated like I shouldn't be there. They tell me ice cream machine is down but they took an order in drive thru for it I seen it on the screen myself. They pick and choose who gets what. I told them I want a large dr.pepper and then after he gives me food he says it's watered down. I confront him about the ice cream order then tell him I'll take a tea but he can solve that problem if he would go change the bag in the back and check carbonated tank he just looked at me like what's that. They even had the lights off outside to the building to make themselves look closed. 🤣😂🤣😂 I swear this place is a joke and the worst place to go get food if you even get all your food. I ended up leaving behind my drink because I seen him drop the cup in the floor then picked it up and was still going to...
