FANTASTIC FOOD!! 1st the table salsa is perfect. If you know you know. That alone is a fair judge of a place's food. My husband and I can't get enough of their chili rellenos! Expertly cooked. Not mushy, but you can pull the stem out easily and the Ranchero sauce they serve on it defines delicious. They have a crazy selection on their menu, so we have a lot to try. They are newly opened and still working on their ambiance but I know they will get there. The only dish I'm not excited about so far are the tamales, but to be fair, everyone's taste is different. Their tacos, chimichangas, carnitas, and anything with that amazing Ranchero sauce I can tell you from experience is worth the trip every time! Try this place!!!

I found this low key Mexican restaurant on a drive from Las Vegas to Palm Springs. It is good!! The server was friendly and talked about their food. I was torn between the Birria and the Chile Verde Pork options, because they offer both! I chose the Green Chile and thought it was one of the most flavorful versions of this dish that I’ve ever had. I found this restaurant to be very authentic. The server even said that they received some negative feedback because their food doesn’t taste the American way. I applaud restaurants that support authenticity because it will draw customers from farther away who are seeking the real deal. I totally recommend this place when passing through town.

(Beef Enchilada Platter, an ala carte Chile Relleno & Chicken Taquitos.) Lots of seating including comfy booths. No frills atmosphere but the food and friendly service made up for that. The melted cheese on the chile relleno was so ooey-gooey, it stretched a mile high as I lifted a bite. All sauces and salsa were delicious. Homemade, thick tortilla chips made with flour tortillas were a nice difference. The rice was delicately spiced, with better flavor than your average Mexican restaurant rice - I thought I detected a hint of cinnamon but could have imagined it. Not a morsel was left on our plates. We appreciated the family-owned vibe.
