Usually good service but just had the worst dining experience of my sixty year old life. And that's a LOT of experience. After picking up our company's to go order we realized it was missing four items.. 2 orders of chips and queso, 1 order of borracho beans and 1 order of churros. When I went back to get the rest of my order I was assured that everything was included in my order. I went back to work to make sure I wasn't mistaken or received the wrong order and it was still only half of what our company ordered. I made a second trip back with the order and our receipt and the employee Toya said she wasn't sure how to process a refund on an internet order and I could come back at a later time to talk to the manager who wasn't there at that time. I told her that my thirty minutes of lunch was already over and I wasn't going to make a third trip and she needed to call whoever could resolve this problem for me. She called the manager and told me " I don't know what your problem is." After she finally figured it out she hands me a receipt that says 0 dollars on it and informs me that " It'll take five to seven days for this to go through." Since the receipt says 0 dollars credit I wasn't convinced she processed my refund correctly and asked her to write her name on the receipt in case it didn't go through. She scribbled an illegible word on the receipt so I asked her to please print it so I could read it and she said " You can leave now!" I've been in the service industry myself for over thirty years and if I ever talked that way to a customer I would be immediately terminated. We always focus on what we CAN do for a customer, not what we can't do for them. And all it would have taken to correct the problem was to fix the order in the first place instead of being treated like a liar. The manager Lesley was helpful and efficient on the phone but Toya does not belong in the service industry. This will be forwarded to your...
Read moreI've heard a lot about this place so I gave it a try. The day was kind of nasty, raining and cool so I wasn't very concerned when I walked in the door and there was 3 tables of people at 2pm, a little light for a saturday afternoon. Immidiately upon ordering food the manager was refusing alcohol to a person with no ID, good job keeping up with TABC!
Half the lobby was closed and there was an employee squeegeeing water out of the floor, possibly deep cleaning but it limited places to sit by a window. Our order was taken and there was quite a wait to get out food (around 20 mins.) We had to clean our own table of other peoples trash and leftover food. There was food on every table and on the floor. I used the restroom and there was TP on the floor and the toilet needed a lot of bleach. Thank goodness I needed number 1 and didnt have to sit on a toilet seat with poop on it. The toilet bowl was also yellow and filled with urine.
Then our food came, it was wrong. A child plate had veggies when it was supposed to be mean and cheese taco only. My taco plate was missing a taco although I was not charged for it. Our other plate was supposed to be fish tacos and came out deep fried shrimp tacos. To top it off my tacos were on the plate lunch and the plate lunch tacos were in a separate basket as mine.
After scraping the veggies off my sons taco he took a bite and made a face. I tried it and it tasted like greasy, burnt, who the hell knows what. So he ate sopapilla bites as lunch. The plate lunch came with rice and beans that were below par. Well below par, beans tasted straight out of the can and the lime cilantro rice was very dry.
There was a group of ladies next to us who had drinks and take out. When their food was ready they opened the bag and half their order was missing.
It may have just been an off day for Fuzzys but being my first time and driving 40 miles to get there I can permanently cross it...
Read moreFirst time visiting, on a Friday night. Place was very busy. The process for ordering and getting food and drinks was confusing and seemed inefficient. You order at the register and pay. Then you get a pager to alert you when your food is done. They give you a receipt for chips and queso if your order comes with it. The drink machine is around the corner, out of sight, so you have to know that ahead of time. When the pager buzzes, you go to the window to pick up your food, which is tricky when the place is busy, because the dining area is very cramped, and if the ordering line is long, you'll be weaving through a crowd of people. If you ordered alcohol, they give you a separate receipt, which you take to the bar, and probably wait in another line, for someone to get your drink. The bar is small, with room for about 6 people or so. All in all, it's a time consuming process which I found to be suboptimal. I think if the entire restaurant was bigger it would be less hectic. As far as the food, there is a good variety. I had the burrito bowl, which was as good as any of the other Tex-Mex places in town. Prices are on par with similar restaurants as well. The atmosphere of the restaurant appeals to a younger crowd, with hip-hop music and such. Not exactly my style, but others may like it. Overall there are places with better food, better bar set-up, and just a better...
