Pizza was fine. HOWEVER, The arcade made my ROYALLY angry. My wife and I were on a date night, and we wanted to have fun playing some games. We attempted to play 5 games. 4 out of 5 games that took our tokens were not functioning.
The Luigi vacuum game ate our tokens and never started when we pushed start. One of the machines was out of order from the start, and just kept spitting our tokens back out at us. The air hockey table was missing a hand mallet, which we realized after we paid. The Keymaster game malfunctioned after it took our tokens.
At this point we felt defeated. So, we decided to call it quits and to use our two measly tokens on one of those little gumball-like machines where you get a little figurine a plastic bulb. We stick our tokens in. We try to turn the knob that cranks out the little plastic bulb with the souvenir inside. Surely we could have SOME happy little memoir of our date. No go. We try to turn it again. Nothing. The little handle/knob thing is stuck, with our tokens inside. We tried, and we couldn't recover the tokens, as they were stuck inside. Ultimately, we left defeated, and very sad.
Could have been a good date, if not for a bad little arcade that was obviously not upkept. Pieces were missing from the games, the entire place was dirty, and (no exaggeration) half the games...
Read moreIf I could write a no star review I would. Went there yesterday with a gift card I received only to be told there was a $0 balance. So I paid with my bank card. I contacted the number on the gift card and was told that it had been charged at that location at the time I was told it had no balance. I went back today to find out how to get a credit back and was told they have these problems all the time with gift cards. Gabby the "manager" said she credited my bank card back only for me to check it before leaving to find out she charged me again!!! She finally credited me for the first wrongful charge and then the second one. She made no offer to try to keep my business and was not even concerned that the while incident could have been completely avoided had her cashier not been talking on her cell phone the entire time she was conducting business. I then asked who the supervising manager was and she said she was that person so I said I meant the owner only to be told Jeremy Brown and that she would not give me contact information for him. Nor would she give him my number to get a call back. So I went online to see what I could find only to find out that she lied about the owner's name too. So sad that such a normally great place to eat has stooped to hiring incompetent people and are...
Read moreLet me preface this by stating my 5-star review isn't because Cicis has the most amazing food. Nobody goes to Cicis for "haute cuisine." People go to Cicis to eat cheap pizza until they explode for about ten bucks.
That said, this is probably one of the best Cicis I've ever been to. So, if you already know what to expect coming here, prepare to be pleasantly surprised because it's just a little bit better than that. I've been to Cicis in the past that were dirty, where the pizza was a bit old on the line, and the desserts stale.
None of that was the case here! Everyone was super friendly, and the lady working the pizza line answered my questions without a rush and with a smile. The pizza and desserts were hot and fresh. The whole place was clean, and every plate I picked up from the buffet line was likewise clean. They had an employee continually walking the dining area, not only cleaning tables but taking empty plates and trash so they didn't build up at your table. The iced tea was good--it can oftentimes taste tannic because the tea dispensers aren't cleaned as well as they should be.
All told, I was very impressed and glad I came. And yes, I stuffed myself with pizza until I was about to explode for only...
