I'm not one to complain. I understand the employees of these types of restaurant chains have to do too much for far too little in return. And I try to be as gracious as I can when dealing with them. Look out for the little guy, you know what I mean? And plus these are people who are handling the food you're about to put in your body. But with all of the niceties out of the way.
The drive-thru line is always terrible no matter what time you go, be it early morning or rush hour. It may be quicker at rush hour than early hours/late morning. At 5ish AM the other day, I spent way over half an hour waiting at the window for two of the new steak and cheese McMuffins. The manager eventually came to the window after I'd already been waiting ten minutes to aggressively ask me what I ordered. Are you kidding me? Then they proceeded to angrily tell me that the cook time for those is super long. Okay? Why is it even on the menu for FAST food if you know it takes a super long time? And why is that my problem? Cook the food! I did eventually get it, like I said, after half an hour of waiting, maybe close to 40 minutes. It was basically just thrown to me through the window by the manager without a modicum of apology for the extremely long wait and it was burnt to hell and back but at least it still had an alright enough flavor. I wanted to just drive off but it was an online order. Oh, and also she, the manager, told me to drive back around so they could get to the people in line behind me. What a joke. Take my advice, if you have a craving for McDonalds at the early hours or late at night, go to anywhere else but to this one. Go to the one clear across town. It will save you plenty of time. This one SUCKS. I would love to give negative stars for this service. Just pitiful. Something's gotta change. Be it the management or the ownership altogether. This can't...
Read moreThe first time I went through this McDonald's, it was 9am and I asked if the salads were ready. I was planning to buy my breakfast and lunch, and then go to work. They said yes, so I ordered a grilled southwest salad. They rang it up and the total was alomost double what it should be. I asked why and they said that since it was 9am, the salad veggies were ready but the meat was not in them yet so I had to pay the full price for the salad (veggies and meat) and then buy another chiken breast so I could have meat with it. But if I came back at lunch, I would only have to pay for the salad and could get the same thing. Absolutely a rip off!!!!!!! I drove off. This morning I went through the drive through and asked for a non-fat iced coffee with sugar free vanilla syrup. After a long debate with the cashier (the manager naver came on to talk to me) I was informed that they could not give me fat free milk because the iced coffee only comes with cream and even though they could just not put in the cream and instead put in ff milk( used in the other coffee they serve) that the ff milk was in another machine so they couldn't do it. I informed her I would be going to Starbucks from now on. They can actually take two steps to the left and give you ff milk. This place is a joke! I worked at McDonald's for over a year, I know this is not how one is...
Read moreEvery time I come here the food is horrible, the service even worse. I don’t understand why she was so rude over the speaker. Why be so condescending, why be so rude? because we couldn’t hear you, but then you turn around and read our order wrong because you couldn’t hear us. Get a different job if that’s how you always treat strangers. This is the second time they give me a different answer as to why they can’t do my mobile order and make me wait in line all over again. I told her my code and ordered something separate through the drive thru. Get to the window, they tell me to get back in line to get my mobile order, did they tell us that at the speaker? No. She asked for our code and didn’t say anything about that. Even if it’s a policy they have, why didn’t they tell us that last time. Why didn’t she say at the window. I don’t know how hard it is to push the order through. Working in this type of industry, it’s not hard to do that. It’s not hard to push it through, then let us know next time we can’t do that. I tried ordering a coffee, I can’t get any because they cleaned the machine recently, cool, pie? Nope. Cookie? No. She informed us they didn’t make any and weren’t going to. Weird for somewhere that’s open all night. I highly suggest teaching your workers to at least pretend to be kind to your customers. Everyone in retail and food...
