Questions about this lovation
Is their a limmit to how many you can see until March 4th? Not that I am aware of. I saw two today.
Do they have Handicapped Seating? Yes, in Fact they have a spot for your chair with a arm rest that slides up so you can easily slide into a nice, reclinig, heated chair.
Do only handicaped chairs recline? No, Every single chair does!
Is this a good theater for couples? Yes! Seats are setup in pairs of two and the middle part slides up! So you may Respectfully Relax together while watching a movie.
Do they Offer Military discount? YES! Best part, is that its a option at the kiosk!
Do they have a bar? Yes, it will only be open after the Grand Opening on March 4th. It is 21+ Only! You can bring the drinks into the theater.
Do they serve food? Yes, They have a snack and consession stand open now. As well as a Mini Resurant with dine in options. The mini restaurant will be open at their grand opening.
Now pay close attention to this. They have Normal popcorn, Bacon pipcorn, and cinamon popcorn. Now, I tested their staff before I made my presence and intentions known. Their bacon popcorn, is kept separate from their regular popcorn. They wear gloves and make it when you order it. All within view of you so you can see it.
Why do I mention this? Simple, Not every one likes, wants or eats pork based products. So, when I saw this I wanted to ensure that everyone, no matter the reason. Can come here and enjoy their experiance.
Surround Sound? Let me say... OMG.. You hear it as if you are standing inside the movie! Its amazing! No one compares to it! Now, You may be wondering .. Why should I pick this theator and why should we listen to you?
Simple, GO TRY IT FOR FREE! I sat down in person with the marketing director himself in this very theater and we had a long conversation. In my opinion, he takes everyones experiance very seriously.
I have never, and i mean never had such a pleasent and wonderful experience then I have had here.
From the moment you get off the elevator the moment you sit down in your seat. A team member is there to ensure you have the best experiance! Not one, not a single one of their staff had a negative attitude, they all are willing to help and are happy to help!
I watched two movies. Harley Quin, and Starwars. Both where wonderful. When I watched starwars, it felt like I was in the movie. The chairs are very very nice and are high quality recliners. They are also heated if you so choose to turn them on.
The tops of the recliners also move so you can adjust your self so you can have the optimal experiance in this movie theator.
The only other theater I have noticed that is even close to this is worldgate 9 in herndon.
What sets them apart is not only their customer service. But also their quality.
Here they have,
Better Chairs
Much better chair trays for your drinks and food.
Heated seats
It is also a dedicated parking garage that is inside. So no Matter rain or shine. You can see a movie.
Please everyone, go check them out. If you read this entire review. please drop a like. It shows my effort was appreciated.
I will be uploading some photos today and will return later...
Read moreNOTE: they won't sell tickets after 10 minutes past the showtime. In order to be courteous to others in the theatre, they stop ticket sales. For some this can be an issue if you assume that trailers are still running at this point anyway. If you don't read anything else below, just be aware to be early or on time.
Opening weekend so of course everything is new but, I like the theatre very much. The location is away from the mall but it remains to be seen whether that's a good thing or not. During nice weather, you can still walk her from the Tyson's Corner metro station in about 15 minutes. If you drive, the theatre and parking garage are in the same building.
Tickets are purchased at the individual kiosks on the way in. There are several so it should help to ensure lines stay small. If course, you can purchase online or in your phone with there Icon Extras app. Prices are prices 🤷🏼♂️. What are you gonna do? For opening weekend the tickets did not become available until 1 hour before the show time. I would assume this limit will not apply ordinarily. For big movies, I would caution those who might want to wait in line to buy tickets on the day of. There are restrictions against waiting in certain areas that might create frustration. Buy you're ticket early and be happy.
Refreshments are available on both floors. If your show is upstairs, they ask that you order upstairs. It's also nice that they have kiosks to order snacks as well. When paying, you have the option of notification through SMS or the app to let you know when your snacks are ready. I did ask for text notification and did not receive one but that could be due to opening weekend. Hopefully this will not be a problem for future visits. You can also order snacks in the app. The only wait should be waiting for your order to be ready.
While waiting, there is plenty of seating available; comfy couches under relaxed lighting as well as tables with a nice view of the area outside of the theatre.
Since it's new, the theatres are of course nice. All seats are reserved. All seats recline. In addition to the legs and back reclining, there is also a separate adjustment for the headrest. The seats can also be heated. Individual trays are also standard
I thought it was just going to be the pre movie show where it might not take up the whole screen. All of the commercials have different aspect ratios so this was probably easier than requiring advertisers submit the proper size A minor annoyance, but you'll probably be getting snacks and talking with your friends. Me personally, I happen to like trailers that are full screen so this was a negative for me. BUT IT WAS THE WHOLE MOVIE!!!! I felt like I was watching an HD movie centered on a 4K screen. Maybe other theatres trick you with their curtains that border the screen and adjust to the projection area of the intended movie. Other reviews don't seem to notice so perhaps it was just my screening (Knives Out) but I would find it extremely annoying and not worth the price if movies aren't scaled appropriately to fit the screen. This was my ONLY issue but it's also the reason you go to the movies.
They validate parking in the garage. I got there very early so I had about 4 hours in the garage and it was $0.00 upon exit, so I was happy about that.
Oh, I like these heated seats! But PLEASE fix the projection size so it fills the screen or get some curtains to fool me into thinking the screen is smaller than it is. I could change my rating to a 5 if they fix the...
Read moreI am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction and frankly, outrage, regarding a deeply troubling experience my fiancé and I endured yesterday 4-29-2025, at your Tysons cinema (7pm Sinner showing). PLEASE REVIEW THE FOOTAGE! We had purchased tickets online for specifically designated handicapped seating to accommodate my disability, which requires me to rely on the accessibility these seats provide. Upon arriving at our designated seats, we discovered they were occupied by a group of younger individuals, who appeared to be under the age of 21. When we brought this to the attention of your staff, a chaotic and inadequate attempt was made to rectify the situation. While two individuals from the group eventually moved, stating those weren't their assigned seats, we were still left in seats that were not the handicapped seats we had paid for. At this point, I was already experiencing significant frustration and discomfort, having to stand on my single leg while this unnecessary issue was being resolved – or rather, mishandled. The fact that this situation even occurred is a blatant disregard for the purpose of reserved, accessible seating. Seeking a resolution, I went downstairs to speak with the manager, who identified himself as Chris. To my dismay, his response was utterly dismissive and demonstrated a shocking lack of empathy and professionalism. Despite my clearly articulated concerns about the occupied handicapped seating and the continued presence of the younger group in other seats – whom I suspected were consuming alcohol, given their reluctance to move and potentially expose themselves – Chris remained seated and indifferent. He made no attempt to understand the gravity of the situation or take any meaningful action himself. Instead, he instructed a younger staff member to simply issue us a refund, abdicating his responsibility entirely. I reiterated multiple times that our paid-for, handicapped seats were still occupied, and that the situation was making us incredibly uncomfortable and feeling entirely unvalued as patrons. The very purpose of purchasing accessible seating was completely undermined, and the manager’s blatant disregard for our needs was appalling. What is the point of offering and selling tickets for handicapped seating if your staff, particularly the manager, will not even ensure those seats are available and accessible to those who require them? According to Chris himself, he has been in his position for six weeks. Based on our experience, it is clear that he is demonstrably unfit to manage a cinema that should be providing accessible and respectful service to all its customers. His inaction and indifference not only ruined our moviegoing experience but also made me feel deeply unappreciated and discriminated against due to my disability. I demand that the corporate office address this serious failure in accommodating disabled patrons and the unacceptable conduct of the manager, Chris. I believe his removal from his position is warranted given his negligence and lack of professionalism. This incident highlights a systemic issue if managers are allowed to so casually dismiss the needs of disabled individuals. I expect a prompt and meaningful response outlining the steps your company will take to address this incident, ensure that handicapped seating is properly managed in the future, and hold the responsible parties...
