To add to the all the one-star reviews: I placed an order via UberEats to this McDonalds location. I placed my order at 8:10 PM and didn't receive my order until 9:40 PM, after the restaurant itself cancelled my order once, which I had to reorder again. Looks like they're not timely with orders at all, failed to update the system from "Wrapping Up" to "Ready for Pickup." When I finally had to call them, I found the order was already ready a long time ago and was waiting for pickup and getting cold while neither the driver or I were notified of this. This caused another delay as they had to remake the entire order.
When I finally opened the bags, the Happy Meal was missing the sauce, the toy I had selected, and the extra fry I had substituted instead of the apple slices. The ENTIRE Medium French Vanilla Iced drink was missing and nowhere to be found, and the fries were all cold and stale. McFlurry was an Oreo, not a Shamrock like I had originally ordered. The McFlurry came almost in liquid state too.
Fries were spilled all over the inside of the bag as whoever prepared the order put the container in improperly. The drenched straws and utensils were thrown in so carelessly that they all landed inside of the McFlurry I had ordered. There were unknown crumbs all over my iced tea cup, which also came tipped over with sticky residue spilling all over the cup. 0/10 and looks like far less than half-effort was put into my order. I am extremely dissatisfied with the customer service I received from McDonalds at 2089 Chain Bridge Road and they will no longer deserving of my business. I did report all issues mentioned above to the UberEats support team to resolve and receive a refund.
Do not trust McDonalds Tysons with your UberEats order, much less in person. Staff at the drive-thru are very unfriendly and my order is rarely correct at this location, especially through the drive-thru. They always forget your sauces, your straws or napkins, and make you wait the longest you will ever have for your curbside orders. Which is almost never right either. I have previously worked in fast-food and casual dining(To-Go positions as well) and see the blatant neglect and disregard for customer order quality. Stay away from here with their distasteful management and inadequate training. McDonalds Leesburg Pike or Maple Avenue does it SO...
Read moreThe service from window clerk at the drive thru was awful. The young lady never made eye contact, greeted us, or spoke a word. She opened the window handed us the food, closed the widow and walked away. We waited a few minutes to see if she was going to return, so we're could ask for the condiments we requested, but she never came back. So I hit the horn a few times to get someone's attention and eventually someone came to the window and it turned out to be the manager who was about to give us someone else's food. So I explained what happened and she acted like we were the problem and annoying her with the story. She proceeded to cut me off in the middle of my explaining and said, "So what do you want ?" Again I repeated the request for the condiments and she angerly grabbed a handful of the condiments and damn near threw them at me thru the window because some of then hit the ground. I told her I guess the statement lead by example is true... because you're obviously taught your employees to be rude like you !" To which she responded, " Ok ... Whatever!". The incident was extreme to me ... all the attitude for some condiments ! 😡
If it weren't for my friend saying she was really hungry and we just won't come back here, I would've asked for our money back because to me ... it's like we paid for bad customer service. So I'm giving them 1 star because the...
Read moreAfter a long day I came to McDonalds to get a few simple things and was greeted with the worst attitude and service I’ve had in a long time (maybe ever) AND was shorted on my change TWICE!! I pulled up to get my food and the gentlemen went to hand me a hot fudge sunday. I explained that I ordered a hot small fry. He pointed at the ticket and I explained again that I did not order a fudge sunday. The lady who took my order came over and told me that I ordered a hot fudge sunday. She proceeded to double down. I explained what I had ordered and had to ask for a refund. It was $4 and some change. They handed me $4, no change, and stared at me. I then explained that I did in fact want the small fry and, with attitude, was told it was in the bag. I explained that the small fry in the bag was for my meal and I needed a second one. They took my bag to check it. As I suspected, I did not have the small fry. After finally getting the small fry they then handed me 40¢ back. Again, the wrong change. I told them to have a nice day and they said nothing. I’m in food service. I understand having a bad day, but this was genuinely the worst service I’ve received, hence why I’m writing a review for a McDonalds. I told my mom that I was not going back for the change because I was going to lose it. I’m a very patient person so that tells you a lot about how I was...
