Its a matter of time before this business goes under, because of the unconscionable rudeness, disrespect and inability to communicate by these girls! What sustains a business is trust, care and a product that gets repeated business!
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and today i ordered a large strawberry lemonade! Yesterday, the employee didn’t know what i was asking for, i guess she wanted me to say mojita instead of strawberry lemonade on this day! She copped a very nasty attitude with me because i didn’t understand her! Hey, we speak English here and i speak some Spanish! It wasn’t good enough, for her and her attitude ! I let it go! Today, i order the same thing and she charged .78 cents more! This child was preparing a small at the increased price! I corrected and reminded her that i ordered a large, and she got huffy, puffy and angry! I also mentioned that the price on the board is $6.50 not $7.00 plus tax of 6% is .42! She said the price changed from yesterday, so the same drink from yesterday with tax went up to nearly $8.00!
I was simply trying to understand, if its posted on the wall, the website, and their ipad ( not listed anywhere) why is it $1.00 more and was met with furry about an honest question ! Perhaps just scamming me and taking it for a tip! I do not know.

Read moreUpdated Review: Two stars less from my previous rating. Let me just make one thing clear, the coffee, sandwiches, ice-cold mojitos and many other menu items here are very — very, good, without question, but ...
... the experience of receiving your order is hit and miss, at best and often frustrating which takes away from the entire experience.
Waiting on line here is adhoc between the lack of organization at the registers, no one speaks English, and the staff is easily distracted by each other. All of this often ends up with receiving a wrong order and a number of English speaking patrons becoming frustrated and reluctant to return (I come here often and I've heard the conversations).
(I hope management is serious about training their staff, and applying some kind of order in their business workflow, "everyone doing everything" is not the answer. Giving your staff assigned roles will add efficiency to the business and learning how to communicate with the non-Spanish speaking community will add to an overall positive experience.)
Older Review: Another great Cortaditos location to grab your fresh coffee, tasty pastries and delicious Cuban eats. Helpful staff and welcoming atmosphere. Quaint seating as well as excellent window seats....
Read moreI visited the Park Ave location, on April 14th, around 12pm. The cashiers were extremely impatient and rushing everyone. They also didn't communicate and separate the customers that are ready to order or not, causing a cluster.
Once I was ready to order with one of them, she didn't greet me and was already being nasty. She was also rushing me and I told her I was struggling to order and reading their updated menu. But she didn't care to assist and just stared at me like I said something outlandish.
Once I got to paying, she didn't ask if I have the rewards app and ended up abruptly telling her I do. And as mentioned above, because the cashiers aren't controlling the lines, one customer was standing extremely close and tailgating behind me, which put me more on edge.
I left the register fuming, angrily told the tailgating customer to move, and was extremely annoyed that my cortadito leche y leche was lukewarm. I order that in the past and it was much better. I really like what the cafe has to offer. But the employees' customer service, or lack there of, cramped atmosphere where laptops should be banned, and overall vibe was extremely off-putting and upsetting. I won't be returning and I'm tired of leaving...
