I always buy from here, but was highly disappointed in the quality of service and the response I received from the owner when explaining my disappoint in recent service.
I ordered sautéed steak, rice and beans. The server was speaking to someone the whole time, as I watched her carelessly place the food in the bag. When I got home 2 mins later, the sauce from the steak and beans was spilled all over in the bag. It was a mess to say the least.
I called and asked for the manager and was passed on to someone- not the manager but acting like him. When I explained that I had been there enough times to know I wasn't speaking with the manager, I was then told he was unavailable. I then explained I was sitting right next to him while he ate cake and I ordered my food, so he was definitely there. At that point, they actually put the manager on the phone.
I was told by the owner to go back out in the rain to provide proof. I explained that all I wanted was for him to have a conversation as a courtesy to his customers with the worker. While I didn't know her name, I described her as a middle aged women with rainbow colored braids.
He continued to say that he couldn't address my concerns unless I came back in..
I explained that if I had to provide proof, it would be through a review as I wasn't going back out in the rain. So here it is.
It's just bad customer service to insinuate that a customer would call and lie about something they only asked you to address with your staff.

Also we wanted avocado salad for an appetizer for all of us she brings us a small portion all dryed and old looking.We wanted that as an appetizer 1st but, instead she brought everything all together and wrong. My father in-law also ordered 3 eggs with white rice and sweet plantains she only brings him 2 eggs instead and myself i ordered black beans she brought me red beans like do u know how to listen. We were only 3 people imagine if it was busier she would be super lost. definitely doesn't know how to waitress.Also the other waitresses on top of us while we are eating our food. hovering over us fixing the shades. You don't do that when u have customers very rude and also how can u charge us $10 gratuity for 3 people?! smh this is not a high class restaurant and also u charge that if restaurant is luxury and 6 plus people. u lost good customers never again will we come here. horrible service i rather go to rumba cubana thank u much better service. La camarera fue horrible y el servicio fue pésimo. Nunca más volveremos a comer aquí mi esposo, mi suegro y yo. Mi esposo pidió arroz negro y frijoles, ella le trajo arroz blanco con plátanos dulces. Mi esposo también pidió ensalada de papa, la porción era diminuta, del tamaño de una taza de espresso pequeña. También queríamos ensalada de aguacate como aperitivo para todos nosotros, nos trajo una pequeña porción seca y con aspecto viejo. Queríamos eso como aperitivo primero, pero en cambio, trajo todo junto y mal. Mi suegro también pidió 3 huevos con arroz blanco y plátanos dulces, ella solo le trajo 2 huevos en su lugar y yo pedí frijoles negros, ella me trajo frijoles rojos como si supiera escuchar. Éramos solo 3 personas, imagínense si hubiera estado más lleno, estaría súper perdida. Definitivamente no sabe ser camarera. Además, las otras camareras estaban encima de nosotros mientras comíamos, rondando sobre nosotros arreglando las persianas. No haces eso cuando tienes clientes muy groseros y además ¿cómo puedes cobrarnos $10 de propina por 3 personas? smh este no es un restaurante de clase alta y también cobras eso si el restaurante es de lujo y tiene más de 6 personas. Perdiste buenos clientes nunca más volveremos aquí. Servicio horrible, prefiero ir a Rumba Cubana, muchas gracias, mejor servicio. Read moreThe service is not good contrary to what you may hear. The waitress had a nasty attitude and did not give a dang about us. Everything arrived at our table extremely late, not in a timely fashion. When our food did arrive, my father's food was cold, my food was covered in oil and WRONG. I nicely told her that it wasn't what I had ordered and she tried to tell me otherwise. At that moment I knew I no longer wanted to eat there or give them my money. I cancelled the order and she still wanted to charge me for it! My father was fuming and insisted he was not going to pay for it.
I have been a faithful Brisas customer for over 12 years and I will NOT be going back nor will I recommend it to anyone anymore. Train your waitresses to have better attitudes and to be more on top...
