The food, coffee, display, and the prices make this place worth it. Most of the women are queens and have always been very kind. Unfortunately, the customer service at this place has severely downgraded. It’s only an observation but it seems that mostly older Hispanic people/men get the most attention.
I want to bring awareness to this issue because I don’t think I deserve to be judged, mocked right in front of my face (they use Central American slang to cover it up - funny enough my parents are also from Central America) or ignored by a select few of the ladies that work here. But I have to call out the weekday crew like the one with the very long dark hair/bandana and long skirt.
This has happened on several occasions where I get ignored and the ladies serve other customers that came after me. One time, the one lady acknowledged me, then took another person’s order. Recently, two of them were chatting and ignored me, the usual. I let it pass bc it wasn’t big deal. What bothered was that, I quickly looked down on my phone and the one who attended me was getting impatient and kept asking me if that was going to be all. I said yes, was about to give them my card when they turned their back to talk to their friend and then I was the one who had to repeat myself. It left a bad taste, it’s unfortunate. I know I’ll feel happier taking my business elsewhere, knowing that I will be treated like a...

Read moreLove this bakery. Been going here for many years. Great pastelitos de carne and galletas but, lately, some of the galletas have a strong detergent smell/taste. I noticed they place the galletas directly onto a table in the back to package them into plastic bags so I'm guessing that they clean the table with some strong smelling detergent and the smell transfers over to the crackers. I usually buy 4 bags of crackers and for some time now, about half the crackers have this issue. I have mentioned it many times to the workers but I am still having the same issue so I thought I would mention it here because the crackers that don't smell/taste like detergent are the best in town, bar none, so I'm counting on/hoping for this issue to be...
