I should not have to go to the McDonald’s at 11 am in the morning on Monday May 5, 2025 and be proselytized to about god. I went to the drive thru and ordered a cup of coffee. I get to the first line and there’s a poorly written message taped to the camera telling people about god. I pulled it off of the camera. Having gone there many times, I was shocked. I know at many businesses people are liable to say, “Have a blessed day,” So be it. I don’t have a problem with that. I tore the piece of paper off and a frail young woman opened the window to ask me did I pull that down. I told her I did. She then asked, “Do you go to church?” I told her, “No.” Then she reached to give me something: “Would you like a church card?” I told her, “No.” I went to the 2nd window and got my coffee from a young Black female: “Here’s your coffee sir,” with another young white female hovering over her shoulders. I guess they wanted to see if the devil himself was at the window. This is inappropriate for a public venue. It’s a restaurant. Not Reverend Ronald McDonald’s house where they multiply burgers in the name of Jesus to feed the hungry. I paid. Everybody coming in there do. It hurts the brand. When you see things like this there are too many immature Christians running the place and somebody needs to reel them in. You have the right to your Christianity and I will defend that but there is a time and place for anything. I called to talk to a manager and was not allowed. Every time I asked for a manager there was silence then someone might or might not speak. They must be holding the manage...
Read moreTried to do dine in and could not get the kiosk to work without downloading some app on my phone. I prefer not to do this. So I went to the counter and waited for 5 minutes to have my order taken by a human. They (including the manager) looked at me and saw I was there but did not acknowledge. A "We'll be with you in a moment." would have been nice. So I walked out and went to the drive-thru. ( I could have gone across the street to Hardee's, but I really wanted some McNuggets) The drive-thru was OK; the person who took my order didn't seem to be happy to be there and wasn't very welcoming. The person who took payment was cheerful and seemed happy to help. I think she made up for the order taker person. Food was typical McDonald's quality, so that met expectations. My overall rating of this restaurant is low due to a lack of a sense of urgency in serving customers, particularly at the counter. One suggestion I would make is to make your kiosks easier to access by not requiring a customer to download the app. Some people would rather not share any personal information just to...
Read moreLong wait and long lines due to having to wait a long time just for someone to actually ask to take your order, well today it was "Have you been waited on?" This is after "Can you hold on a minute?" All I wanted was a shake, some fries, and a sweet tea. The only good thing out of the whole situation was I was not in a rush so I waited. The cashier and servers were polite though. Fries were cold, everything else was fine.
Today 8/12/24 Currently at McDonald's ONLY because there's nothing in Hickman. I ordered 5 McDouble's, 1 Spicy Chicken and A LARGE STRAWBERRY shake. When we got to the window. The young lady handed me a vanilla shake and said "It's white but it taste like strawberry." To say that did she drink out of my shake? I sent it back, waited, and still got a vanilla dang on shake. I will no longer support this...
