Valerio's Tropical Bakeshop — Restaurant in Union City

I use to be a fan of Valerio's Tropical Bakery, but I am very sorry I am not anymore. I will not go there anymore to purchase any food. I called this morning to ask to speak with the manager and a young lady answered and she said "hello ma'am my manger is not her!." I then stated okay well I just wanted to let you know that I found mold in the Sapin-Sapin that I had purchased there on Thursday. The lady on the phoned then said "okay ma'am let me get my manager!" I explained to the lady that I purchased the Sapin-Sapin Thursday morning and usually when I purchase it, it doesn't mold like that. The lady then said "well (in her laughing voice) it only last's for 3-4 days." I stated that my mom makes Sapin- Sapin and it does not mold like that. This is a joke are you kidding me! So the lady gave the phone to her manager. I spoke to the manager and I explained to her that this has been the 3rd time that I have seen mold on there food in the bakery and not just this location but the one by Island Pacific as well at the front window where they display there bread etc. I calming then told her that I really do not want to report this, but my kids ate the desert as well. The manager apologized and stated that she would like for me to go to the bakery to exchange it which was nice of her. I let the manager know nicely in Tagalog that it is okay, but thank you!. I guess the manager didn't know that I spoke Tagalog because I spoke to her in English(I was born here but I can speak the language lol! I was thinking this). I started to have diarrhea and that is not okay! Lucky for me it only lasted for three hours. So many worker behind the cashier registration looking away from the cashier registration .When I was calling for their attention to pay, called them that I almost have to scream they pretend not hearing and responded rudely when I called the 3nd time. The girl on the phone turned to me in an annoyed loud voice that she's on the phone. The cashier in charge was also seem annoyed . Filipinos in this bakery working together feels too comfortable and lose their work ethics. This valerios is one of the only branch that feels like a low class bakery based on the workers and place. Recently I read a review where someone was mocked because they reported molding on one of the baking Goods there at this facility. This is not a good thing many of us do not deserve this kind of treatment specially if it was reported to the manager. And the manager Mocking the customer that is not taking very lightly. I am a customer and I'm traveling from Modesto if I do find something like this and will report it to the FDA immediately.
