Oh, sweetie, let me tell you about my fabulous adventure at iFly! It was more thrilling than finding the perfect shade of lipstick on sale! First off, we filled out some boring paperwork online - about as exciting as watching paint dry, but necessary, darling. When we arrived, we splurged on the "high flight" add-on. Trust me, it was worth every penny - like upgrading from drugstore to designer! We traded our fabulous footwear for some sensible closed-toe shoes. Sometimes you've got to sacrifice style for safety, honey! Then we met Chris, our instructor extraordinaire. This gem had us in stitches with his jokes while simultaneously impressing us with his know-how. He made us feel as safe as a butterfly in its cocoon! After stashing our belongings, Chris helped us into jumpsuits that were surprisingly chic. He even played photographer - what a doll! In the training room, Chris taught us all the hand signals and flight plans. It was like learning a whole new dance routine, but in the air! Next came the accessories, darling! Earplugs, head socks, goggles, and helmets - I felt like a glamorous astronaut! Chris made sure everything fit perfectly, like a glove... or a really good wig. The skydiving itself? Pure magic! It was like floating on air - literally! Chris was there the whole time, guiding us like a fabulous fairy godmother. Afterwards, we got certificates and were offered a deal for next time - as if I needed any convincing to fly again! Let me tell you something, Chris deserves more than a raise. That sweetheart deserves a golden star and his name in lights! In conclusion, darlings, iFly took my breath away and left me wanting more. It's the most fabulous way to touch the sky without breaking a nail or messing up your hair. Now, go forth and soar, my lovelies!

This is my second time flying, first in Sacramento and now in the Bay Area. Here are some things to keep in mind: This place is mostly for kids, it gets pretty loud and if you go on weekends you might encounter a birthday party. While you are told the experience is 1 hr. You get paired with a group of up to 11 people and individual flights are only 1 min or 2 min late if you pay extra. Outside of an educational 4 min video, there is little training, or feedback on how to improve or grow without having to pay private lessons. Everything else outside of your 1 min flight is an up charge. High flights, extra flights, videos, photos or extra equipment is all an extra charge. I was a bit disappointed because I was expecting a more personalized and upscale experience and it return I got a very low effort and rushed experience. Coming here is not cheap and if you plan to come, have the right expectation. This is a perfect activity for families and kids. Not so much for adults that want to take classes and learn. I hope it helps!

Holy jamoly was this an experience! For being only a few feet above ground, it's still a very terrifying experience for those that are afraid of heights. I don't think I'd ever go actual sky diving but this in itself, did a very good job simulating that experience for those that are less ballsy like me. It's a lengthy process before you even get your turn in the giant wind tunnel, but they show you a safety video on how you should have your arms and legs followed by suiting you up, and then putting you in there for your turn. There's an instructor inside with you at all times, so find comfort that there's someone always watching you. My first experience inside was terrifying, and the 30 seconds - a minute that you're in there, feels like a life time. But rest assured, the second time is not as bad and for about $10/$15+ more, you also get the opportunity to have the instructor take you spinning up and down the wind tunnel! Which, although I was very nervous for... it was extremely fun the second time going in! Highly recommended for anyone that's considering sky diving but want to experience something that simulates that before doing...

Review for iFLY Indoor Skydiving - SF Bay Area

I recently had an amazing time at iFLY Indoor Skydiving in the SF Bay Area, and I can’t recommend it enough! From the moment I walked in, the staff made the entire experience fun, safe, and unforgettable.

Flying in the wind tunnel was an absolute thrill—it’s as close as you can get to real skydiving without jumping out of a plane! It’s a perfect mix of adrenaline and skill-building. What’s even better is that iFLY offers a progression system where you can earn experience and skills that are directly transferable to actual skydiving. If you’re considering taking the leap (literally) someday, this is an awesome way to prepare.

The experience is also surprisingly affordable, especially considering the quality of the equipment, the expert instructors, and the sheer fun factor. They even have packages and deals if you want to go back for more sessions (and trust me, you will!).

Whether you’re an adventure seeker, celebrating a special occasion, or just looking for something unique to do, iFLY is a must-try. I left with a huge smile, a bit of adrenaline, and maybe even...
