A friend and I came here for lunch, and the experience was terrible from the start. When I asked a simple question about a dish, the server acted annoyed. Our entrees even came out before the appetizer.
When I asked for chili oil, the woman at the register snapped, “NO MORE CHILI OIL, JUST SAUCE ON THE TABLE” (which was just Sriracha). Her rude tone made it clear she didn’t care if she was being disrespectful. We let it slide, thinking maybe she was having a bad day, and tried to enjoy our meal.
The whole time we were eating, neither of the two women working the front bothered to check on us not even to refill our water. Instead, they stood around chatting with each other and shooting us dirty looks. (Mind you the place was not packed just two tables so it wasn't like they were too busy to bring us water).
When it was time to pay, my friend placed a to-go order for her mother. The server asked who was paying, and I said I’d cover everything together. She asked again, then insisted I pay first. Fine. I ran my card and purposely selected no tip. Immediately, she had the nerve to ask, “You pay tip cash?” I told her absolutely not you didn’t check on us once, not even for water, so no tip. She looked shocked, confused, and angry all at the same time, then said something to the other rude woman and told us to wait.
Even another customer waiting for takeout commented about how they push for tips here even on to-go orders. We both agreed: ridiculous. Tips are earned, not demanded. I don’t mind tipping for good service, but I refuse to give my hard earned money to people who are rude and dismissive.
If I could give zero stars, I would. Do yourself a favor and skip this place if you wan't to avoid bad customer service and disrecpect for...
Read moreCustomer Service was terrible. First, the lady working the counter had a pretty bad attitude. I dont know if she had a bad day, but that’s unacceptable regardless. She kept chatting and didn’t pay attention right away when I was about to place an order. Then I ordered to go just to find out when I got home, they got my order wrong. They asked me to bring the whole order back and made the drive back to the restaurant and dealt with the inconvenience. Mind you my family was already hungry at this point so it was frustrating. When I got there, the lady was apologetic and took the order back to the kitchen, then I heard them yelling, not sure if it was towards the cooks or out of frustration that they have to do more work to fix the issue. They came out with the right order and apologized. There was no compensation for the inconvenience and frustration caused unlike other places when mistakes happen. I mean if they want to be greedy they can absolutely do that, theyre just going to get a negative review and lose a long time customer.
PS: Beware, I don’t know what they plan on doing with the wrong food they took in. I hope they dont resell it to another customer. Thats so...
Read moreHadn't been there in years. Recently decided to drop in while driving in the area nearby with the family. Everything we ate came out delicious but the most notable item was the chicken chow mein. It has that darker more well cooked flavor of noodles, called LoMein or something in other places. I prefer these over those lighter chow mein noodles most places serve. I point this out because the noodles seem to polarize chinese food restaurants sometimes and these may not be your thing. Otherwise, we ate well and the prices were very affordable actually. I respect places that dont charge the greediest amount possible and still serve great food and have good service. It motivated to leave a nice tip, which i reserve my right to do so or not depending on the experience. So...
