I recently visited Golden Nail Bar for a set of acrylic nails, and there’s a mix to unpack. The service, provided by Tiffany, was friendly and welcoming, setting a positive tone. The quality of the work is undeniable; my nails genuinely stand out, especially with the cat-eye design, which is exceptional and clearly a specialty of theirs.

However, there were inconsistencies. While one hand perfectly matched the almond shape I requested, the other fell short, affecting the overall symmetry. Similarly, the cat-eye effect varied between both hands, diminishing the cohesive look I was aiming for.

A slight misstep in the service process caught me off guard. Before removing my old gel polish, I wasn’t consulted about what I wanted next. This oversight led to an unexpected commitment to acrylic nails, which, while beautiful, wasn’t my initial intention.

I also noticed a discrepancy in the customer service. While others were offered beverages and additional services, I seemed to be overlooked in this aspect.

On a positive note, their attentiveness to customer comfort during the removal process was commendable. They adjusted their technique immediately when I experienced discomfort, showcasing their professionalism and care.

In reflection, Golden Nail Bar showcases technical proficiency and a customer-focused approach, albeit with room for improvement in consistency and communication. I went in and asked for gel-X full set. They REFUSED to do gel-X and forced me to get the liquid gel instead. They then had the audacity for force me to pay for the service that I didn’t want. I believe my nail artist was Peter. I was very clear about what I wanted and he waited until he had already started working on my nails to inform me that he was doing opposite of what I wanted on my nails which is on my body, therefore it’s is my choice what I get done. The liquid gel nails have already broken and cracked, which is why I didn’t want them like this. Liquid Gel always cracks my nails. That is why I get the gel-X every time. I wanted the gel-X. I should not have had to pay for a service that I didn’t want. This is unethical practice at best. Safe to say I will NEVER be going back again, and I am telling everyone I know to avoid them at all costs. Golden Nail Bar is not worth it. Do not go there. Go anywhere else. This is unprofessional of them to refuse to do the service that I’m paying to get done. This was an absolute waste of my money, and I cannot believe they had the audacity to get about halfway through the process before informing me that they were changing the plan for my nails even though it’s my body and my choice what I get done to it. Not the nail technicians choice. My choice. I am incredibly disappointed in Golden Nail Bar and their staff. I expect professionalism and received none. I deserve a full refund...

My boyfriend and I came in on Sunday feb 18 2024 at around 11am. The girl at the front desk was super nice and welcoming, she told me to check in on the iPad they have at the front , I thought it was going to be busy but it wasn’t, there was about a 5min wait which was not a problem at all. We came in for two pedicures, I wanted a gel pedi and my bf wanted a regular pedi. The pedi technician sat us down at our chairs , it was a man named Nick and another lady finished my toes, and a different lady did my bfs nails, both worked fast but good, Nick prepped my toes well didn’t miss a step was very detailed, and the lady finished off my toes it was really clean work I loved it! My bf looked like he was enjoying his pedicure as well I kept looking over and the lady was trying to clean up his toe nails really good, his feet came out looking nice as well! I loved it. The girl from the front desk can to us at the beginning of the service and asked if we wanted something to drink ! Later on she gave us these cloth warmers for our necks which felt really nice! Everyone was very nice! They finished with us in about 30minutes !! If your reading this I definitely recommend coming here!! It was a 5/5 costumer service I’ll also give a 5/5 for the cleanliness of the place and implements they used on us!
