First impressions in the first hour were mixed. Love the way the place looked inside. It brought an exciting positive vibe for me. As me and my family sat down we felt forgotten as the waiter never came until the owner told her to come to our table to attend us. We then got a new waiter that took over. I wish I knew his name but all I know is though we didn't have many moments to interact with him , his attitude felt welcoming and felt as if he was excited to work there and serve us. The appetizers were mixed for us. Ceviche wasn't good at all for us Chicharrón was dry and not hot. We felt it lacked taste. Calamari was the best part of the appetizers. Well made and the sweet sauce to dip it in had us wanting more. Dinner was overall good Cuban sandwich - wasn't impressed by it. Definitely had better Ropa vieja - was good and tasteful Churrasco - was the plate of the night . So flavorful and so well made. This plate had me wanting more and was the reason to come back to this restaurant. Dessert - We had the tres leches, churro, and the guava empanada (not sure what was the name exactly) and they were all really good. No complaints. Extra - had the mambo margarita with guava and it was really good and not lacking at all in the amount of alcohol poured in my drink. And the price was right. Pricing - was fair and hopefully the price stays the same for years to come and not just be fair cause it's a new restaurant. Overall I would recommend anyone looking for a good place to eat with friends and family. Definitely didn't disappoint me and my family. And look forward to coming back with my friends next week.

So I waited a while to try this place. I have alot to say. So I will say alot without saying to much. I was there with a friend for a late lunch about 3:00pm. The Valet Parking reminded me they work on tips. Kind of cheapened that experience. We were seated right away the wait was not long. The waiter made his was over to our table. We ordered the Sampler Platter. I forget what it is called. The Croquettas and Papa Rellena where good. The Tamal was sweet but very dry. The chicharones. Where etreamly dry. Its like they were fried like 3 times or sat under a heat lamp till they dehydrated. Totally flavorless. The few corn fritters. Were crunchy and sweet as expected. So I always order a Cuban Sandwich when ever I visit a Cuban Restaurant. I took a few bite. The Sandwich looked dry and the presentation was ok. So I bit into it. The mustard and pickels were really over powering. I couldn't taste the pork ham or cheese. I pull a piece of pork on its own. It had good flavor. But it was lost and didn't come through. The mustard and pickels killed it. I dont recommend it. I dont like the hard bread they use. Few people can pull of a Good Cuban Sandwich. I only ate half. So my friend ordered the Ropa Vieja Congri and Yuca. The Congri was good. The yuca was ok. The Mojo for the yuca wasn't great. The Ropa Vieja was tender but the tomato sauce was sweet. Thank to her for sharing a little of everything. The truth is the food was disappointing. Only because I heard so much. All the great reviews and friends enjoyed it. I was disappointed. It's hard to judge a place. When your limited on you experience with the menu. This is why I won't return to try it again any time soon. Really good service can allow one to forgive not so great food. But when you have awful service and not so great food. You are left with a really bad experience. From when we ordered our main course. It took nearly 40 minutes. The people next to us arrived after us. Ordered way more food and were eating before us. We had to ask the waiter twice. The second time he said the manager was aware. I asked to speak to him. He never came. The last straw was I had to get up and find someone to give me the bill. The decor is really nice. They did a nice job there..but the whole experience is like a Rumba Cuban Knock Off. Poor service Totally Ruined it. I would give this place 7 out of 10. Its an enjoy at your own risk for me. I am one and done. Unless I have. Future change or heart. I left upset and hungry.

Where oh where to start. It took over an hour and a half to be seated after being instructed to come at a specific time by the restaurant. Once finally seated, my party and I waited an extremely long time to even get our drinks taken. Our waitress never wrote down any of our food so she would just bring a lot of one specific drink in waves and pass them out to random people. The same thing occur with appetizers except those couldn’t even come out at the same time. One member of our party very kindly asked to return their food stating it just didn’t fit her pallet the way she expected, but still stated she would pay for it as they weren’t at fault for her taste bud preferences. However, the waitress SNAPPED at her for no reason, creating an extreme situation from one that was otherwise a verycalm one. Throughout the entirety of our “visit” consistent bangs occurred, putting many of the children into an unstable state due to fear. Furthermore, the camera women asked to take our photo and when we were looking at the printed version debating on if we wanted to buy them, she was glaring at us as if we took more then a minute thirty for a 4 photo decision. In order to not waist anymore of your time if you have read this, I’m not even gonna comment on the main portion. That’s mainly because there was hair on the plate so that should sun it up. (Also, everyone’s food tasted like it was canned and it was very dry) In short, I wouldn’t recommend this place.

⸻ The atmosphere was cool and welcoming, creating a relaxed vibe that made the evening enjoyable. Service was attentive and friendly from start to finish, which definitely added to the overall experience. The food had its highlights, though there were a few areas for improvement. The fried pork chunks, while cooked well, were a little dry and lacked some seasoning or bold flavors that would have made them stand out more. The corn fritters were decent — slightly crispy on the outside with a soft interior, making for a nice bite. The tostones cups, while a fun idea, felt a bit too small to fully enjoy the toppings, leaving me wanting a bit more substance in each bite. One of the standouts of the evening was the Hennessy sangria — it was delicious, smooth, and had just the right amount of kick to make it memorable without overpowering the meal. It paired nicely with the dishes and was definitely a highlight. Overall, it’s a great spot for a casual dinner, a family celebration, or even a date night. While there are a few things they could fine-tune on the menu, the inviting atmosphere, attentive service, and solid drink options make it a place worth visiting.

Came here for the first time with hubby. They had just recently opened a few weeks back and we wanted to check it out. We didn't have reservations so we waited about 45min. We recommend making reservations. When you first walked in its a cute setup with the old stylish car at the front. I wasn't breathtaking for me(just my opinion)I've been to cuba so I expected more expressive decor from there. I usually get sucked into an ambiance and I didn't here. I was surprised as to how close together the tables where. The drinks took longer than the food to arrive. Appetizer we had tostones with beef. I love cocktails and my drink was too sweet for my liking. The food was overall good. I had ropa vieja and my hubby got fried pork chunks which he loved. Overall my experience was very neutral. There wasn't a wow factor. I went during the day we will be returning to feel out the night time here. I will give it 3 stars just because we did get fustrated when our drinks took like 25min to come. We were hesitant to order again and we did and again long time. What could have been 4 drinks each turned in to 2 each.🤷♀️
