For a 97 year old woman who had arranged a Covid booster for a specific date and time, Walgreens incompetence at fulfilling their obligations is almost criminal. The app worked smoothly to book the appointment, and a text and email confirming date and time came through as expected. We arrived 10 minutes early, only to find a 2 two! lines with over a dozen people each waiting. (One line for check in, the second line waiting for actual vaccinations). Some people on the line had been waiting over 45 minutes already. Many were on the phone rescheduling pickup rides, childcare or workshifts. Multiple sick people walking to and back on the lines to the pharmacy counter, needlessly risking extensive exposure to all these unvaccinated persons.
There was no text or email message warning that they were running so far behind schedule, and to come back later. No short-line for the disabled or elderly who can barely stand. There were not enough seats for those who needed to wait.
I was able to speak briefly with a worker, who indicated this was not a one-off occurrence because of a random event. This was routinely happening every day. I asked why did they schedule appointments if they don’t have the staff and bandwidth to handle it? They said speak to corporate. So I am writing this review. Maybe someone from corporate will see it. Maybe someone from the State or Federal government who is subsidizing vaccinations will see the Fraud, Waste and Abuse (FWA) occurring here. Or maybe a clever lawyer will figure out a way to initiate a class action suit on the behalf of the countless people whose time was needlessly wasted by a corporation who is pumping up false appointment slots to collect subsidy dollars. Real easy to establish, just subpoena the computer record showing the original appointment times vs the actual injection times and wow – case proven!
I would say to try the CVS in Union but they...
Read moreI went to pick up a photo order but I had ordered too many so told them that I wanted to take some out. The manager Gregory E said you can take a couple of them out njt not all of them. Anyway, I finally decided on 19 photos I wanted to keep and asked him if he could put the others on hold until tomorrow in case I decide to purchase the rest of them. Originally he said ok as long as I pay for the ones I’m keeping and I said that’s fine. Then I made the purchase of the 19 photos, he said no I’m getting rid of them right now. And he purposely went over to the trash to trash then and made me wait 20 mins while he was doing that to purchase two other photos I had printed in a separate order.. he lied about being saving them until tomorrow if I decided on them and purposely went to trash then and made me wait there for 20 mins. What a nasty disrespectful manager! Will never shop at this location again. Disgusting! Usually the people who had worked here in the past were so nice but this man...
Read moreAs a former Walgreens employee for 6 years, I get it.. I know how people can be, especially in retail. I put in a photo order, usually I would go to pick it up, but my daughter is sick so I got them delivered instead.
First off, you cancel the one thing in my order that I needed most. No call. No reason, just cancel. I call customer service to see why and he doesn't even know what he's talking about. Telling me to reorder is AGAIN and pay for shipping AGAIN.
Now i know you all can have it transferred to another store, but fine you didn't feel like it... Then I get my order a day after the promise time to get photo cards with envelopes WITH NO ENVELOPES.
These are cards... how do you not include the envelopes. Bruh it's the holidays.. it's common sense at that point. So I had to go get envelopes when they should have just been delivered...
I shouldn't have to pay for a service that wasn't...
