Starbucks — Restaurant in Union

They used to be a great place to sit and hang out but they got rid of a lot of the tables I'm assuming due to the pandemic but it still convenient they have outlets for you to plug in your laptop or cell phone It's just limited seating and the parking is kind of tight as well I stop here often as I go down route 22 very often and sometimes I have to wait on clients so I kill time at this particular Starbucks however on my last visit there I was a little annoyed with how long it took for the drinks to be made and the amount of drinks that were on the counter that no one was picking up was a little ridiculous clearly they were taking online orders first and giving them presidents over people who were actually there in person waiting for their order and I had to ask several times for help since there's no milk no sugar nothing out for you to help yourself to you have to ask for everything and then when I asked for someone to add with cream to my drink after I received it everyone completely ignored me and it took the person who was standing there supervising them to come over and help me so you take that as you want to interpret it I take it as poor customer service on their part on that...

You wanna come to Starbucks and relax enjoy your cup of expensive Coffee and hopefully the vibes and music is good(coffee music is suppose to be relaxing). However I come here and it's blasting club music and I asked nicely to lower the music and change the genre because I'm right under the speaker it's super loud and the 2 other guest here are puzzled as well not happy with the vibes, so I went to say something. She did not like my request it was written all over her face. Said to me" well I can't do anything till song is over(another 2 min of frustration I had to wait) songs over another hip-hop song ( I LOVE hip-hop) but not at a coffee shop and especially blasting under my head while I'm trying to work and relax. I’ve been going to all kinds of Starbucks for years in so many places it’s hard to keep track of it all. Who would’ve thought one of the most memorable experiences would be essentially “in my own backyard.” One of the baristas, Matt, was so helpful, so nice, thoughtful, and extremely considerate. I asked him if if he could help me with how to pour over coffee since I’ve always wanted to do it since I’ve seen one of those tools on Instagram. He took the time to expertly demonstrate how to work it and his passion and kindness was something I was definitely not expecting.
