This is my go to whataburger. They have strawberry fanta on tap which is dope and my order is always correct, for the most part. This is it the revised review as I've noticed in the past few months the service here has gone completely downhill it is so slow no matter what time of day you come expect to wait 20 to 30 minutes and on a Friday night you're probably going to be here for 30 to 45. I ordered online to pick up said my order be ready in 3 to 7 minutes I waited at the speaker box for 10 minutes and nobody ever greeted me. I understand it's a fast food job and they aren't very well paid for the amount of bull*hit they have to deal with from ungrateful customers but everything I've ever heard about Whataburger was that they take care of employees. I don't know if they only have 3 employees currently and they all just have to rotate but that's what it sure seems like. The night I took this picture I sat in the same space that I took the picture from for over 20 minutes before I even ever moved up one car. As I'm completing this review I've been here now for 30 minutes I should have just gone to a sit-down restaurant at this point. Again I want to stress that I know what a burger is not typical fast food and it generally takes a little bit longer than average but this is just another level of slow with employees that just look miserable all the time. I lived on Pat Booker literally across the street from this Whataburger and frequent this establishment regularly and not once In the past 6 months have I seen one employee that looks anything other than miserable. I worked in a food and beverage industry for over a decade starting as a waiter and then bartending for majority of my time spent in the industry while also doing some front of house managing for the OSI restaurant chain that owns outback bonefish and carrabbas, well I know they are not comparable as they're two different types of restaurants The concept remains the same you could not work if you had an attitude like that you would get sent home and they would not let you come back until you fixed it. Read moreUpdate: they corrected our whole order the manager on duty her self. She was so nice and even hand delivered it to us!!! They redeemed them selves and I rerated them! We have been back for the most part it was better service they do seem to be improving.
This Pat Booker Rd. Location, its our closest location but it has always been a hit or miss when it comes to service. It doesn't matter what time of day you go either. We've come at every shift time. They use to be #1 in service in my book - whataburger it self, when it came to the dining inside. But here: I'd say 9 out of 10 times our experience has been terrible at this location. This time we grabbed 3 meals almost $40, we've eaten lunch at olive garden for the same or less even. So you kinda hope that your gonna have a decent experience, nope. From the moment we drove up we waited 10/15 minutes with no reply but they only had 3 vicars n front of us, dining room was closed as it was rounding about 11pm. My husband had to finally pull out and go through the 2nd drive thru line, as both were open we thought maybe they were having technical difficulties. Nope about 5 more minutes goes by & another car pulls up where we were and right away they answered them and start taking there order. After servicing them first they answer were sorry for your wait what would you like to order so they knew we had been waiting. The service has always been slow, & were giving up every time we come it gets worst. 9- 10 times our food isn't prepared right. Sure enough it wasn't this time, but we were already gone & it was late, we just agreed to give up going here. It hasn't seemed to get better & we can eat anywhere and probably cheaper & enjoy it way better. We also had to wait almost another 15 minutes after we ordered & the food was cold by time we got home to eat it on top of it. Read moreI have been trying to do business with this location since the day they opened. Each time I go back to give them another chance there is always an issue. My order is either wrong, the staff has no idea what's going on, or the kitchen staff needs help and the manager stays in the office and does nothing to improve the situation. Tonight was the last straw and I will not be going back to this location, even though it's less than a half a mile from my house.. A-Customer came in with a dog in her arms, and the hostess came from behind the counter and started petting the dog talking to the owner and holding the dog and playing with it. Another customer came up and his order was wrong and he was trying to get it corrected . he had to go tap the hostess on the shoulder and ask her to please fix his order. She took his tray to the back at which time another customer and myself told her she needed to wash her hands before she handled the food. She told us she was just the hostess and didn't handle food and it was OK. I informed her that it was not OK and it was a health code violation. She was upset with me but went back and watched your hands. Meanwhile the customer informed me that all restaurants are now dog friendly and their dog could be there. I let her know that all restaurants were not dog friendly and that was a health code violation by having her dog in the restaurant around the food. The manager on duty was listing to the entire conversation promptly turned around and went to the back of the kitchen where he couldn't be seen. The hostess came back with the man's correct order and went back to talking to the lady with the dog. My order was up and ready she went back behind the counter again to bring the order out. Again with not washing her hands. I ask her to please touch the bottom of the bag and go wash your hands again. I check my order and left. I will not be back at this location again. And intend on calling the health department and ask for a full inspection of the store.
