Smoothie King — Restaurant in University Heights

I love going to the Mayfield location despite the heavy traffic. So when I seen this location pop up, I was elated! There are a few problems that needs to be addressed. The parking is pretty tight, but as long as there aren’t any Mr. Magoos around, then you should be fine. The next problem is that the staff there seemed overwhelmed by just me and two other people ordering. It would seem that the staff was also working on online orders at the same time (this particular problem isn’t exclusive to this establishment however), so it took longer than expected to receive my order. The main problem that I had was that the gentleman that prepared my smoothie DID NOT FILL IT ALL THE WAY UP! I’m a big guy, so usually I always order the largest portion in any place I eat at. In this case I ordered a large (44oz) Gut Health (or something like that) smoothie. This guy left so much space inside of the cup! The Mayfield location fills theirs completely up, so there is no reason why the same cannot be done here. If I wasn’t heading into work that day, I would have brought this to his attention. I went in as a new Smoothie King customer excited to try the place out. For the $9.99 special the cashier said I needed to download an app. The signage does not specify this. Also the sign says I can get a Treat smoothie. The sign did not state that it was only select treat smoothies. If their are certain requirements for a special put it on the sign.
