I like the food but the service today was horrible. They were out of noodles but didn’t tell the cook to make more until I ordered them. And it wasn’t anywhere near closing time. So I ended up sitting and waiting for more noodles to cook. someone came in for their pick up order and I noticed they didn’t start his order either until he came in so he was waiting a while too. I am usually patient but just don’t expect to have to wait at this kind of place, especially when it is not busy. That is kinda the point of fast food. Then, they didn’t let me know when the noodles were done, even though I was sitting right in front of them (I was looking at my phone but would expect them to say something to me when the noodles were ready since they knew that’s what I was waiting on). A group came in and I happened to overhear them order and receive noodles… I wasn’t about to stand in a long line after having waited patiently for about 20 minutes. So I ended up leaving. So rude! And it wasn’t even a language barrier or misunderstanding because I speak the same language as the staff. Avoiding this location going forward. Also not very clean and the food counter was a mess. Idk if the burners went out or what but everything was out of...
Read moreI have long been a fan of Bibibop & it has been overdue that I write positively about them. I placed an online order for takeout today using the Bibibop app for the first time & it was neither intuitive nor user friendly. I tried to send the driver who was picking up & delivering the order to me the receipt, order number & specifics of what to pick up. I was awarded a free bowl as an enticement to use the app. I gave the driver my phone to show the store the transaction but when he arrived to pick it up, there was no order. The shift manager took the time to try to locate the order on his system in case it was sent to another Bibibop grill by mistake but none was found. He comped me a chicken bowl & his staff was very generous in their servings. To give you a better perspective of the size of Bibibop's "original" or large bowl, the other photo shows you it is equal to 3 servings of delicious food. I am grateful to the shift manager whom I didn't get to meet personally or his staff but my delivery driver said they were all very accommodating, friendly, helpful & willing to help & I received another healthy, delicious meal that will get me through tonight &...
Read moreNeeds to work on consistency amongst different locations. The Cleveland and Beachwood locations cook their bean sprouts and kale and the chop up the kale into smaller pieces. The size of the ingredients and the amount of time they are cooked for influence the overall flavor of the meal. Also, the flavor of the food overall would be improved by cooking the food a little more. Every bowl I’ve gotten tasted like raw, cool to room temperature vegetables with cool to room temperature meat with uncooked sauce on top. It’s like eating pizza cold. The texture and flavor of pizza is like night and day when it comes to its temperature. Bibibop’s food would be complete by cooking it a little. The food tastes like it needs to be cooked. I don’t need all of the color to be cooked out of my vegetables in order to eat them. I know flavor balance. I always want to take their food home and finish cooking it. It tastes incomplete and unfinished. There are a lot of restaurants that have come along and try to fashion themselves after Chipotle, like Piada, which is gross by the way, and this concept of pick your protein, pick your toppings doesn’t work...
