Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Upper Arlington

Ordered two drinks, bahama mama and island green. The island green was excellent - i ordered it with no sugar. Their menu doesn't state that they'd add sugar to this specific drink, but i just happened to ask if it was sweetened! 😏

Bahama Mama was too sweet for my own taste, but my friend liked it. She ordered it half sweetened, yet it was still sweet for her.

My recommendation is to go with no sugar at all and let the fruits naturally sweeten your drinks 😊

I'm giving the place a 1 star because of the service. I walked in today for the very first time. My friend and I were not greeted, which is fine. (The place wasn't busy, though). We ordered and waited for our drinks. One of the servers brought the drinks over and left them on the table. She didn't say anything. We got up to leave and I said "have a great day, ladies," to the server and the other girl that helped make the drinks - they both looked at me and didn't respond, then they continued to whisper to each other. Unfortunately, I will not be coming back again. Natalie and another girl were working the shift in the early evening on aug 17. I'm not sure if this is their personalities or if they were just having a bad day, but either way, definitely not a place I want to come to for...

Sunday, July 7th, 2024 3-star Review: I’m pretty bummed because this evening I received a flatbread with old lettuce, a black bean that shouldn’t have been on there as well. And my smoothie tastes like the blender wasn’t clean that they made it in although the service was pleasant upon arrival.

I will say that I’ve noticed this location has had a slight decline when it comes to the quality of the food prep but of course just like everywhere else the prices are on the rise! We used to patronize the business far more but because of the pricing now it’s only once in a blue moon just for an experience that may be hit or miss.
