We have had bad experiences at restaurants before, but the service we received this evening has to be one of the worst.
The restaurant was a little busy but didn't have a wait time to be seated. As a matter of fact, there were a fair amount of open tables, but that didn’t deter our server from making us feel like we were interrupting her evening. She greeted us with the warmth of the Arctic tundra and wouldn't even speak to my wife to ask her what she wanted. The chill of the service didn't stop with how we were greeted, I had to go to the bar twice to get my iced tea refilled because the server wouldn't check on us. When we received our food, we noticed that it prepared as we requested, and when I politely pointed out some issues with our food to a different server, because ours didn't bring our food to us nor was nowhere to be found, they said the manager would be over. When the manager came to talk to us, I explained all of the issues we were having. For example; giving one plate for two people and then needing to ask for a second plate. We requested that the dumpster fries have the jalapenos be placed on the side, and they came with them on top. Also, the fries had very little toppings, and the melted cheese was all at one end of the plate, leaving the remaining 3/4 of the plate without cheese. My chicken wings barely had any sauce on them. The manager listened to my issues and then responded by asking if she could replace anything, but by this time, one of the other servers got us new fries and sauce for my wings, and I told her no because it has been handled. I did want to let her know about how we were being treated and how food was coming out of the kitchen. She replied, "The men in the kitchen are very busy, and sometimes food gets messed up." Yes, I put that in quotes because this is what the manager said to me about food not being prepared correctly. If a restaurant kitchen isn't busy, then the restaurant isn't making money, and therefore, the people in the kitchen need to be able to prepare food correctly. Read moreWelp I’m anticipating talking with Janessa (in the morning) whom I imagine maybe a real manager at this location because after attempting to talk to two different people about our issue this evening instead of them actively listening and being solution oriented I was argued with. Brittany (“alleged manager”) has an terrible attitude, no people skills, poor comprehension and would rather argue than to apologize and provide a solution. Mind you we received $5 off from the last visit where they messed up our order and they somehow did it again.
I understand mistakes happen however after paying for food that I could’ve used to patronize tons of other businesses only to be met with someone mixing up what’s being explained and trying to avoid where they went wrong along with an attitude isn’t good business!
I expressed my frustration because their mistakes cost us time, money and ultimately stuck with something we didn’t ask for or missing something we essentially paid for. The issue is that Taylor (hostess) took the order and as you can see from the pictures although she rang it in correctly somehow the kitchen made a mistake. My partner’s food wasn’t the requested flavors and you can see it on the box compared to the receipt. Now I would’ve said it wasn’t a big deal had it tasted like the flavors we asked for but my partner said it didn’t taste like it because as we can see it wasn’t accurate. Read moreWe were able to seat ourselves. That's a good thing. My friends ended up picking a dirty table. The waitress comes to our table and I told her that the table is dirty. She wiped it down but wasn't going to unless I said something. She seemed to have an attitude about it. Anyway, she asked us what we would like to drink, we got our drinks within 5 minutes. She asked us if we were ready to order. We said we needed a minute. She didn't return to our table for 7 minutes. We were ready within 2. We put in our full order including 2 appetizers. Our appetizers sat at the window for 5 minutes before being served them. The nachos were cold. A different waitress brought our food. Our original waitress took forever to get our refills. We finished eating and sat at the table for 10 to 15 minutes before she realized were ready for our check. She never once asked us how the food tastes. I asked for a box and never got it. I had to remind her. It took her 6 minutes to cash out our checks and bring them back to the table. She brought my box after she had given two other tables boxes. I watched her clean a table while we waited for her to take our checks. I was totally unsatisfied and we were there for an hour and 20 minutes. This was a late night. It wasn't busy at all. We had a 5 year old in our group and she didn't get home till about 11:40 pm. And we arrived there shortly after 10 pm. I am not going back to this location. Service sucks!...
