I came to specifically try their original Hong Kong style Bubble Waffles. I would go again but I would let them know to let the waffle cool a bit more before putting in the paper packet. The part of the waffle that was not covered was perfect - crispy on the outside and soft inside. Unfortunately the part that was in the pocket got soggy by the time I got to it. I got it to go and ate it in the car. Maybe I should have taken it out of the pocket first but I wasn’t told to do that.
The pineapple lychee handshake jasmine tea was also very good - not too sweet. They didn’t ask me if I wanted to adjust the sugar level or ice amount like a lot of other places do. Overall...
Read moreWaited for 15 minutes for 1 drink. The couple inside were fighting and messing up drinks that the other had started… would maybe have been faster to make the bubbles at home and manufacture my own machine that puts shrink wrap on top.
Edit: I still am waiting for the drink. In an M night twist the people in front of us ordered 12 drinks and the couple running the shop got confused and made everything twice.
Is it worth the $7 for me to stay here?

Read moreGreat new Milk Tea joint. Boba menu is deep and the drinks are not the standard sugar fest…they are more complex and way better than the standard Kungfu/Bubble fair you find in Cbus. For example, Taro drinks have actual Taro in them. Really good. Also tried a Pork and Seaweed egg waffle. Crunchier than I expected, and as we ate it really grew on us. The flavors and textures really complimented each other.
Anyway, highly recommend giving this place a try so you can make up your mind for yourself.
