ok originally I had a 3 star review which I put 3 stars because the food was good . The food is good but does not out way the owner who thinks it’s professional to go online and argue with customers who don’t leave a good review. So If someone has poor service and your not there to witness it how are you able to argue with customers ? You told me my review was all over the place and despite eating there four times well obviously you can’t read or maybe your all over the place too! As I previously stated I have eaten there a total of 6 times, 2 times service was handled by the mean lady that’s describe in another review . So maybe the customers are crazy ? You accuse me of sending my sister in to be angry ? Very unprofessional on your end . My sister had to come in because your wife said she wasn’t taking phone orders and the phone line went dead after that. I tried to leave that out the story but since you want to argue so be it . My Issue is not with caviar if you read my review instead of getting defensive I said I called asking about my caviar order and your wife said my food had been sitting on the counter collecting dust . Yes your perfect wife who can do know wrong . Again didn’t state that part because I didn’t want to be rude although it was rude of her to say it . I have no issue with caviar I can pull up 30 caviar transactions that I have over the years my issue is with your store .Just to be clear since my review is going off in different directions as you say, your wife never asked me for my identity. She just ASSUMED I was the driver and was upset that I drove over an hour to get the food and told me It was sitting up there collecting dust. Your wife does not know how to use caviar and thought I was the driver , is that clear ? she was being nasty and upset with me asking me how will She know if I am the driver or not after she realized when I placed dessert and other items that I was a customer. She didnt care about my Id or checking anything she just assumed again not sure what about me looks like I’m a driver and not the customer . Maybe instead of getting defensive you should take the constructive criticism since more than one person has had an issue with her . Judging from your reply I doubt that will happen because I am a chef out side of being a therapist and I never talk to my customers nor patients the they way you have in your reply. Also what age your son is of none of my business not sure why your explaining to me his age you need to explain it to your wife she is the one who said he can’t count in-front of a room full of customers . I told the son he was doing a good job as positive encouragement because he looked embarrassed when your wife said that but what do I know?? I work at the hospital with lots of nurses and therapist who I recommended to this place but maybe I should show them what you wrote me in regards to your wife being nasty to me and my sister. I’m sure they will just as turned off...

The owner posted an apology on Facebook regarding the unprofessional reviews, and has acknowledged they are wanting to do better.
I hope this remodel really turns their business around and brings them success. 💕
March 11, 2025:
We were in the area on our way back from a trip and decided to stop here for dinner.
I loved my cheesecake but wasn't a huge fan of its crust.
My mac and cheese and broccoli were also very good. The wings were ok. A little disappointing, but not awful. I had to take the rest of my food to go because the portions were big, and I get full fast on my glp-1. So I haven't had a chance to eat the rest yet. It should last me several meals.
The interior and exterior were a little run-down, and the colors were a bit of an eyesore, but I also just have an extreme dislike for the color red.
The bathroom was dark and hideous, had no paper towels, and the blow dryer was so low power that I had to go back to my table and get napkins to dry my hands.
The place was kind of small and didn't seat a whole lot of people.
A little too casual. More of a casual "stop for lunch or takeout" kind of place, and not as much like a "go out to dinner" kind of place, if that makes sense.
The server did mention that they are closing to remodel in a couple of days.
The servers were very pleasant, even though we were waiting a while, both to be seated and to get our food.
They don't sell alcohol unfortunately. :(
I can't wait to come back and see the place when they're done remodeling!
I definitely would stop here again, even without the remodel.
Also, reading other reviews, I'm not a big fan of businesses responding to customer reviews in a way that shows them publicly trying to argue about or justify food and service issues.
The responses to Saundra Riley, and other reviewers, were very unprofessional.
Definitely not a fan of the "you did, you said, you're wrong, this is fake, you were, you dont live here, youre clueless, lol" responses. Pointing the finger, denying responsibility, making excuses, etc. The review responses actually disgust me. You can do better.
I would Google or use chat GPT how to sound more professional when responding to negative customer feedback, even if you feel like they are lying, exaggerating, or just plain fake. Customers don't need to hear your side of the story. They want to see how you handle issues.
It just makes your business look bad to see the owner arguing, talking down to, or invalidating a customers experience in the reviews, and will keep them from coming back, or other customers from wanting to eat there.
Strongly disagree with the way the owner responds to negative reviews, and that alone would make me want to avoid a place of business if I saw it in advance.
I hope the remodel includes your professionalism.

Read moreEdit to add, but wanted to include at the beginning of the review, rather than the end. Ordered a brined and deep fried turkey for Thanksgiving because it was either that or ordering Chinese food so… Holy cannoli, the turkey was BOMB!!! Slightly undercooked in the area where the thigh meets the breast, but I needed to reheat it anyway so it wasn’t even a deal to heat up with the rest of my sides, I just reheated for an extra hour (rather than the whole 4+ hours it takes to just cook a turkey) so it was really convenient for me. The flavor was incredible! My turkey usually tastes great, but it’s usually only just in the skin, Wilson’s was in the entire meat! My hubs and I effed this turkey up. This meat was so tender and flavorful. I don’t think I’ll ever cook a turkey again for Thanksgiving. Less stress, my from scratch sides were way better since I had more time to devote to them , and the turkey was soooo much better than mine. $80 is way more than worth it to ease my holiday stress with a bomb turkey so if you’re even slightly on the fence about cooking a turkey for Thanksgiving, get one from Wilson’s! (This was updated as of 11/28/2024, remainder of review, I honestly don’t remember when I posted the rest of the review). Original review as follows I will preface this and say that I'm not crazy about BBQ in general, but my better half is so I go for the non BBQ options most of the time when he wants to order. My honey does love the sauce, brisket cheesesteak, and ribs. The restaurant owner is a hoot with his responses to negative reviewers. I think he just CAN say what most people in the service industry WANT to say to all the annoying Karens and Chads they have to deal with. Foods... Love the fried curds. Can't look at a mediocre mozz stick the same way. Lobster roll is bomb. The BLT salad is my fave. Okay, Steve, go with me on this... bleu cheese crumbles. I'm tellin ya, the earthy flavor of the cheese and the sweetness of the candied bacon, incredible combo. I don't know if the recipe has changed, but I find the mac & cheese to be quite flavorful and delicious. It's actually quite rich in flavor, which is pretty opposite of bland. It's not a drenched mac & cheese, but mac & cheese shouldn't be drenched to me. Still not dry by any means though. I can't say much about the service, as we've only ordered through Grubhub, but they always write the name with a smiley on our order. I like little personal touches like that. Zero issues with our delivery, if anything, it comes much faster than other restaurants in the area. Keep chewing bubblegum and kicking...
