Came here because my son found it on maps, thought we'd try it; not bad, coffee was decent as was the breakfast philly, but it was lacking taste, had to add plenty of salt and pepper, also the sausage (you have options) would've been nice if chopped or slice up into the egg. Service was as to be expected in a small diner, but be warned IT'S CASH ONLY. You will likely miss the little sign that's in the window like we did! They do not have any of the money apps (venmo/cashapp/paypal) simply kept advising me of their ATM. She did give me the option of leaving something and returning to pay since it seems to be common! TO THE OWNER: if it's common maybe have a LARGER SIGN on your door, or put it on your menu? Or join the 21st century and take cards ;) One thing I thought was funny, a customer next to us was asked by (I'm assuming the owner) how he liked his food, the customer replied "it was good", he then pushed and said "not great?" he replied "no it was just good!" Who does that LOL, but I agree the food was ok/good, not great. Instead of insisting that it was great, maybe listen to...

I love this place and I wish we lived closer, but I guess it's a good thing we don't or I'd be 20 lbs. heavier. This is true comfort food. Though I usually come for breakfast, I know their burgers and grilled cheese are also good. I imagine most things are very good because they are made with love and care by the great chef and owner, both who are very friendly and professional and always show that they are glad you came. I recommend the amazing french toast (with real butter on the side) along with the most delectable sausage I have ever had. Eggs are also fresh and eggsellent (sorry), the homefries rock, and my mom loves the cream chipped beef. I just heard that they are now doing Sunday brunch with EGGS BENEDICT....yum. I think they close by 2 on Sun. Looking forward to going there tomorrow, seeing all the nice people including the waitresses, and experiencing heaven on a plate. I have been coming here for 12 years and the food and service have always been great. Thanks Chris (owner) and family. ...

I want to stay by saying I love dinner and breakfast! I was in town to see a family member at Abington Hospital and wanted breakfast before visiting hours, and I am so glad I found this place! It hit the spot! It's a small diner with a quaint counter. The staff have probably worked there a long time and they had great regulars, I overheard one asking the staff about another's health, I'm pretty sue they said he was 100! They offered me a menu but the special. Was 2 egs, homefries, coffee, and choice of toast or grits for under $6, and I was sold. I like my scrambled eggs dry, and they came out perfect. The homefries were perfectly crispy and soft. Nothing was over seasoned, so you could make it how you like it. The rye bread was good, and the only jam seemed to be grape. The coffee was good and hot! I went back a second time while in town because it hit the spot, and you can't beat the price for the value! Parking in their lot is limited, but there is...

First time eating at this local restaurant. It's a little small but the waitress move around with ease and are very efficient. We got our table before the rush. There were quite a few diners that knew each other which gave a hometown comfort. The food was delivered hot and delicious. I ordered the daily special of French toast, sausage and coffee. Then added a side of hashbrowns with onions (which I heard were good and they were). My husband ordered a western omelette, grits and rye toast. I was kind enough to share some of my hashbrowns with him. We cleaned our plates and my coffee cup was always full. This all made for a satisfying tummy.
