I love the food here, everything is amazing and the sushi is out of this world. Me and my boyfriend are regulars here but that will NOT be the case anymore. The wait staff is some of the rudest I’ve ever encountered particularly the girl with the short brown hair. I always feel like I’m inconveniencing them by ordering sushi even though they have a HUGE LIGHT UP SIGN that says 50% off sushi like that’s a major attraction for 2 sushi lovers. They rush us when ordering and give us Rude looks/smirks when we do order our sushi, we never order more than 3 rolls per person.... last but not least our most recent experience was yesterday night when it came time to pay. My boyfriend doesn’t have a credit card and ALWAYS pays me back in cash LATER while we put the whole bill on my credit card so that way I can build my credit, point is he always pays even though it always goes on my card. The waitress with the short brown hair is the rudest one of them all. My boyfriend was treating me this time and payed with his cash and she said “oh look whose finally paying for the meals” my jaw dropped!! I couldn’t believe she had said that and I felt completely disrespected. YOU NEVER COMMENT ON ANYONES PAYMENT SITUATION. Read moreThis was my 1st and last time coming to this establishment. Prior to entering the restaurant there was advertisement that featured 50% off that got my attention. Upon entering the restaurant I thought this was going to be a great meal and night out to try something some where new. However the menu featured 2 pieces of sushi for $6.95 at 50% off $3.50 for 2 pieces. There is no way people are paying for this without the 50% off I would never pay full price. If people are then they need to rethink how they are spending their money!!! After eating a few bites of my appetizer something hard and sharp pireced my gums. I immediately bring this to my waiter's attention, show him the thing that was in my mouth and ask what is that??? No satisfying answer could be provided. The manager was incompetent in this area the more he talked the more I was suspicious of what the hack was in my mouth? Frustrated, I tried to chalk it up to some sort of seasoning but just to be on the safe side I made one last ditch effort to better understand things only to discover that the waiter should manage the restaurant because he patiently provided a reasonable explanation. And the manager should be washing dishes to avoid customer interactions because he showed piss poor customer service. He even had the nerve to answer a call while I was in the middle of talking to him about the matter!!! Never again. The first time I picked up take out--The hostess did not even hand me my food- I literally had to ask where my order was after I paid for it. Maybe I was supposed to guess....? The hostess just pointed to another counter on the other side of the wall across from the register. The second time I picked up food, I literally stood waiting 10 min while a confused girl asked 50 + questions about the menu. I think it's great to answers customer questions but make sure you send another staff member to assist other customers when this happens. It's common sense. I was not just picking up a $6.00 roll. Each time I ordered I spend over $25.00 and each time I was very nice and patient. Maybe they prefer not to do takeout because they make less $$.
