The drinks at this Starbucks are always great. I will say, there's usually a pretty long wait time, but that's totally understandable because of the amount of traffic the promenade gets. My only complaint is this one woman, who I believe is the manager. A few times I've ordered items on the app and when I get there the bag is empty, meaning that they don't have the item. This isn't a huge issue, I get sometimes you just run out of stuff. But when I ask for a refund since I wasn't able to get my item, I'm usually met with eye rolls and huffs. I also work in customer service so I understand the frustration, but getting mad at someone because they ask for a refund on an item that you failed to report as unavailable for ordering in the app is not the customer's problem. It's not like I got the item, and didn't like it so I asked for a refund. It's usually the same woman that always gives this reaction. Like I mentioned, I also work in customer service so I get the frustration but it's not like I did it on purpose. It's very reasonable to ask for a refund on an item that you didn't receive, but paid for, because of the fault of the store. I don't mean to be a Karen but it's happened several times and I feel like it's something...
Read moreI've only been here 2 times, and both were "so-so". The first time my boyfriends order was messed up, and even after saying it again to the guy he still messed it up. The worker was kind and gave him a bigger size up and apologized and it was still an okay experience because all the workers smiled and seemed happy to be there. That was in the afternoon. However... I was there last night around 8:15pm and I stood there while 2 workers stocked everything and NEVER greeted me, I looked at the one and finally after a few minutes asked if they were open. One replied a snarky "yes" and gestured to the the other worker who was younger and then said "she just wants to go home". That specific worker took my order didn't even say hi, she only said "do you know what you want" never said thank you, never said anything else and not once smiled. Just because you close an 45 minutes doesn't give you a right to treat your customers like that. I'm not coming here again after that, Barnes and Nobles Starbucks always gets my orders right and everyone of them smiles and actually seem to...
Read moreUnbelievable! I am at Starbucks every single morning spending $15 for my coffee and somehow Center Valley is the only place that can never get it right. I specifically asked for a disgusting amount of caramel in my drink. I paid a five dollar tip for said caramel. When I got it, there was nothing in it. I asked them to add more caramel to it, and instead they gave me a cup of caramel on the side so that I could mix it myself at the table. In the process of doing so the drink spilled all over the table all over the floor and all over the customer sitting next to me. I am not a barista! When I come to Starbucks every single day spending $15 every single day I expect my drink to be right. And when it’s not right, I expect them to fix it behind the counter, not hand me the things to fix it at the table. That’s what the five dollar tip was for. Now I’m leaving Starbucks after paying $15 with coffee all over my feet, no caramel in my drink, and a half a Venti. What a waste. Hate Center...
