I can't thank the owner (Brian) of Limoncello enough and only have the highest praise. I've been the recipient of his and his establishment's exceptional commitment to his community... most notably animals and folks in distress.
Recently (August 3rd to be precise), my tire exploded and the closest place to pull over was the Limoncello/Manhattan Bagel/Tractor Supply parking lot on 113. A friend of mine that works for a mechanic came and grabbed the shot tire and put my car up. She brought me a new tire the following evening (August 4th)...
In the interim, I was too embarrassed and proud to call anyone for help, so I overnighted in my vehicle with my dog. The temperatures fluctuated between roughly 75 and 95 degrees during that period of time... My vehicle's air conditioning was and is non-functional.
I kept to myself in a parking spot far from the buildings. Nonetheless, without request or prompting, a gentleman I came to know as Brian, the owner of Limoncello, approached me with water and sustenance for both my dog and myself at no charge, despite my obstinacy and initial rejection of his kindness. Not only did he do this once, but twice over the course of 24 hours.
What I valued more than his gift of grub and cold water in that heat was his attitude: he truly exuded a genuine and obvious care and concern for both me and my pup... No benefit to him, his restaurant or his staff. I didn't (and couldn't) pay him and didn't beg or ask for his assistance, but he still provided it. Assistance may be too light a word...
Brian offered something far more than chow and cold water... He gave the time and space to try to get to know me and understand my circumstances. Furthermore, his upbeat, friendly, outgoing demeanor and obvious feverish dedication to animals captivated my heart.
I'm not only privileged to write this review, honored to have been given the gift of Limoncello and Brian's kindness, but thoroughly excited that I will be visiting them again soon to dine in with cash... Hopefully next time it will include an intact tire.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Brian. You had no obligation to do that, yet you did. You're a good egg.

Update as of 9/4/2022--- As promised, I had to go and dine with Limoncello and show my support for a fantastic establishment. Brian, Doug, and my server (whose name is currently escaping me, but he was excellent) were absolutely wonderful and given my previous experience, I expected nothing less. I was certainly not disappointed.
I had the chicken parm with penne. It was neat that I was able to choose the type of pasta. The bruschetta was also freaking amazing and there were 2 distinctive flavors between the two pieces, which I found to be a refreshing and welcome change from the run-of-the-mill/same-old-same-old that is all too common in restaurants.
The food and wine selection (they had one of my favorites) coupled with the fabulous service to both me and my service dog has cemented me as a lifetime customer. Can't wait until next time.
Head on over to Limoncello. I can't imagine a world wherein you'd be disappointed.
Thank you...

First time visiting this restaurant with my girlfriend. I had high expectation, but ended with a disappointment. The restaurant always seem crowded, so I decided to give it a try.
Restaurant: 3/5 Service: 2/5 Food: 3/5 Parking: Plenty of free parking spots.
-Restaurant- From the moment we walked in, the whole vibe just seemed off. We're met with some unfriendly glaring stares, hostesses seemed annoyed and unfriendly, no friendly smiles or hello. The restaurant decor seems somewhat modern, but close to being out dated. The
Our "reservation" was for 6:15PM on a Saturday, we were offered bar seating at 6:20PM because the dining room was full, we're told we can wait 5-10 minutes if we want dining room area, we agreed to waiting. We ended up waiting for 30 minutes, after being offered bar seating area twice. While waiting we noticed they took out waiting area across from hostesses stand and put 2 tables there to accommodate additional guests (Which we were also offered, at this point it was already 20 minutes into waiting for our 6:15PM reservation) Doesn't seem like the best idea, the area has so much traffic and noise and every time the door opens it blows a lovely breeze of freezing air right into that direction.
-Service- It was "OK" at best, our waitress seemed way more interested in chatting with "Specific" patrons than actually servicing other guests. After checking in via Yelp app, I noticed there's a 10% off discount for yelp or yelp elite members, so I thought ok why not give their customer service a test. We asked our waitress if the offer still applies, she went to the owner after 2 reminders, came back and advised us yes it does and it will be credited to our bill. I thought ok great, however when the bill came it was not taken off. While I left to go to the restaurant, my girlfriend approached our waitress that our bill was not credited. This is what the waitress told her "Oh yeah I am sorry, I realized it after I printed the bill"... So you're hoping we won't notice?
-Food- Overall was pretty average at best. I have had a lot better Italian food elsewhere. I guess I don't understand the hype.
What we ordered or came with the meal: -(Drinks) Super Tuscan and St. Germain (Good) -Bruschetta - Ok, the bread is very tough. -Fried Calamari - Although the quantity of calamari was good, the execution? No so much. The breading on the calamari was not crispy. Sauces were good. -Limoncello tossed salad - Average -Chicken Parm with sauteed spinach - Lack flavor, chicken was overcooked, and the breading just falls off the chicken. As if the chicken was breaded AFTER it's been boiled or steamed.
Overall an "Almost OK", but uncomfortable and unpleasant dining experience. You can't tell a guest, you're "too busy" and then goes on to putting MORE tables in the dining room and waiting area to accommodate more guests.
I would probably go somewhere else for my...
Read moreWife and I made reservations for a date night. After waiting 20 min past the time I asked and seems they had forgotten us, ok stuff happens no problems. Ordered a coupe drinks and appetizer to share, they came relatively quick and were good. Placed our entree orders Chicken Parm and a Salmon and waited, and waited and waited. an hour later we watch as the nice couple next to us who were seated probably 8-10 min after are done and shes giving them their check. I notice the table on the other side of them seated after the first are enjoying there meal (Chicken Parm) by the way. I said to my wife we may not have time to eat as we had a show to be at and we might have to get it to go for later rather than rush so she proceeds to ask the server if it will be much longer. Servers response was " well you know it is a busy restaurant, but I'll go check", with an attitude like were putting her out of her way and left. Excuse me? Probably the correct response should have been simply I'm sorry let me go check on your order? She waited on the other tables and knew ours was taking a bit. With that I was ready to just take it with so I got up and went to the Hostess station to talk to someone about her response and change it to go. As I was talking to the hostess my wife appeared with our coats and replied the server came back walked past her never saying a word and proceeded to take the order of a large party that had just been seated next to our table. With that I just said I want the check and was done. A woman I'm guessing was a manager or something did ask what table we were and as I showed her I noticed they were already clearing the table. The manager said don't worry about the drinks and app which was the right thing to do but we came there for a dinner and to try them since someone had given us a gift card. We eat out a lot and I cant remember a server giving attitude like that or having to leave a review like this but it totally put me off, we will give the card to someone else. UPDATE;. Was contacted by the manager and received sincere apologies and an invite back. Thinking they cared enough to respond and feeling my review might have been a little harsh for what might have been a one off night, the wife and I figured we’d give them a second chance. Happy to report all went well food AND service was great and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves- upgrade to 4 stars. Thank you Limoncello we’ll...
