I don’t know where to begin... I have been lost for over two years without my engagement ring. I stopped wearing it because “something wasn’t right”. My husband had went back to the original place he purchased and they told him it was fine and offered no assistance. Another told him, carbon and they could enhance but I kept insisting that the diamond was going to fall out or please don’t laugh was broken and shaking. I had a solitaire 1.5 carat. We recently moved here and I had bought a replacement ring to wear and it had to be sized, I stopped in and spoke with Joe and told my story and asked could he look at my ring, as well. First, he sized the ring, repaired a bracelet and gave me backs for diamond earrings that I had only wore once because original backs kept falling off. Well, after Joe took one look at my ring he said these prongs are too small and that is why you feel like the diamond is “broken” because you could lose it. He said he could repair it but my husband and I were just over it and decided to go with a new setting. I went and met with Joe and we looked at a few different settings and he asked me a few questions and then he gave me a price that was very reasonable. He offered to email us the design before proceeding but I knew that he would get it right. Well, he nailed it!! I was shaking as much as the day I was engaged! I am amazed at his work, my unique one of a kind ring! It’s completely stunning! We could not be happier! Everywhere I have been today, I was complimented on my ring! I am so very thankful for the time and dedication they have put into every detail! Absolutely Stunning! Thank you so...
Read moreI have used a fair number of jewelers and I will say that Lionville Jewelers is fantastic. I went in today to get a Tiffany silver ring buffed (I scratched it with sandpaper very badly) and my 18k wedding band (white gold) re-dipped. I dropped them off around lunch and was asked when I wanted to pick up and I said after work (he does it all right on location) and wouldn't you know, they were ready and both looked like new (and for a very competitive cost..I would've paid more, honestly for that service). The owner who runs the business is fantastic at what he does...repair, custom design (I saw some of his pieces and they were wonderful), and customer service. I will definitely be returning and telling friends about my experience.
Update Feb 2023 Years later and we are still coming back to wonderful and friendly service. We will keep coming back knowing that we can trust them with our much loved jewelry, whether it's resizing, re-dipping, or fixing. It feels like I'm walking into my family's place when I'm in there. Everyone is always inviting and thoughtful. Thank you for years of service...
Read moreI just picked up my new anniversary band today and let me just say I am blown away by the amazing work Joe, owner of Lionville Jewelers did. I went in not knowing exactly what I wanted, he let me try on some options in store and made great suggestions. In the end, he took the seven small diamonds I had from another ring, was able to easily add a couple more to tally up to 11, my lucky number and set them in a beautiful channel-style ring within about two weeks time from when I came in. I am THRILLED with my new ring and keep staring down at my hand.
He also dipped my wedding band and engagement ring in a fresh coat of white gold, I have quite the sparkling left hand now.
Lastly, Joe re-sized a vintage cocktail ring that was my great-grandmother’s, it fits perfectly, I’m so happy to be able to wear this ring now.
I highly recommend visiting Joe’s lovely shop whether you’re looking for something in one of his cases or a special custom piece, his craftsmanship is exceptional. He is really nice also! My husband and I had an A+ experience all around and look forward to future...
