Very nice place. Kind of stark in decor but spotless, neat and organized. Every single worker we encountered was friendly and encouraging. Very nice! They are in soft opening so it was a bit of a wait. Especially when we were ready to check out. But it's to be expected. The music was so loud though I couldn't have a normal conversation with my daughter who was sitting directly across from me. That was a little off-putting but not a deal breaker. Food was beautiful. Everything was fresh and nicely prepared. And the grills while being warm enough to cook we're not scathing to wear all your hairs sends putting your meat to cook. I loved that. The cold sides that were served at the beginning were tasty but it would have been nice to know what they are. I mean the broccoli is broccoli no biggie there but there was a white salad that I believe was bean sprouts and daikon but there was no explanation of what they were nor was it listed in the menu but it was my favorite. The food itself was delicious. It was bland but the dipping sauce provided really livened things up. The house marinated items were really yum and my absolute favorite was the thin sliced pork belly. Oh my goodness good good good. Do not mistake this for standard bacon. The butter shrimp I expected more. It came with a butter sauce but the shell was on it and the sauce was drizzled on top of the shell so when you peeled it off none of the flavor was actually on the shrimp. But it was fresh and yummy. Again thank goodness for the side sauces on the table which I will add, there was no indication of what those were either. One was green, it looked like a ginger scallion. The second was sesame oil with another flavor. Not sure what it was but that one was my favorite except it got salty at the end. The third was a sweet sauce that had the color of fish sauce but no resemblance of the flavor. It was okay. The little robot rolling around serving food was cute as I don't know what but it was an extremely random and it didn't look like it was an option. Not sure how people were able to be served by it. All in all we enjoyed our meal. We will definitely go back. There were other things we ordered but $36 per person for dinner is an excellent price. You get 2 hours to eat. Cook and eat. Eat and cook with all of these wonderful people around making sure you're okay. 😁 We will be returning and bringing friends and family with us.

My family and I came here for dinner this past Friday night to celebrate my son’s high school graduation. They had a nice promo for high school graduates which offered 10% off the entire check. This was a smart move on their part as I’m sure that brought more people in, however they were also one of the few restaurants that opened late (12am) as the graduation did not end almost 9pm. They were packed and despite having an 9:30pm reservation, we still had to wait about 40-45 minutes (was told 15-20 minutes wait. When I checked in) before being seated as the tables were not ready yet. Normally, there isn’t as much of a wait unless it is a holiday weekend. As we waited the waiting area got more and more full with people with reservations and walk-in/waitlist patrons. I have been to Blue House Korean BBQ 3-4 times now and despite it being busy, our waiter was very nice and attentive. I cannot remember his name, but he provided the best service I have had here thus far. As for the food, I have only ever had the AYCE Korean BBQ, so this review of the food is based solely on that. You do have the option to just order A la Carte if you and your party are not in the mood for AYCE. The better deal is option A or B for the AYCE as package C is just too pricey for me and I don’t feel like the value is there. Their meats are not marinated, just drizzled with the flavor of sauce you choose, whereas other Korean BBQ places I have been to have their meats marinated for more flavor. They do provide 3 dips (green sauce that I’m not sure of, salt/pepper mix and sesame oil). Overall, there is enough flavor, but could be better. The appetizers are just fair in flavor as well. The KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) is decent, but again the sauce is just drizzled on top and tossed. The atmosphere/vibe of the restaurant is good. They have plenty of seating for small and large groups. They also have private rooms which includes a Karaoke Room. For Vacaville, this is the only AYCE Korean BBQ. For the price, I can’t complain about the quality of the food. They have a ā€œbirthday wheelā€ that you can spin for prizes such as free food on your next visit. It’s a great place for the meat lovers!

Let me start by saying we went during the soft opening, knowing they are still training, and don’t have a full menu available. We did have slow service, which sucked because our burner kept going out and some food was forgotten, but again, it was a soft opening so it was to be expected. The food was good, not great, but good. The waiter recommended sesame ginger chicken and we didn’t like it. We also had bulgogi beef, Cajun shrimp, and spicy pork belly. The shrimp was my favorite, second to the bulgogi beef. Usually bulgogi beef is my favorite but this one lacked a much flavor as I’m use to. It was almost as though the meat was marinated last minute. We tried a couple of the signature drinks. The general manager actually spoke to us for a bit and suggested a couple slight change to one of our drinks. I liked them all but cousin thought they tasted like medicine. The manager had a new one sent over which she enjoyed much more. All in all, I will definitely visit again and I’m sure I will have 5 stars for them once they get up and running. Pro tip: don’t park under the trees or your car will be covered in sap! :(

Let me first off say that I understand it is their soft opening and I understand they are busy. When I arrived with my sister they said it was a 30 min wait. So cool that's fine, we waited. However, everyone that came after us received their tables before us. We thought it was strange but thought ok maybe their party was there before us. Well it got to the point where we were the second to last group still waiting for our table. I went up to the hosts and asked if we were next because everyone that came after us had already received their tables. They said yes we're sorry. We are waiting for a stove table top for you because you only have two people. The other parties had more. We have been to blue house in Sacramento many times before and have never been told this.) I said ok no worries, I do not want to be a rude customer or a Karen, I understand. That's fine no worries. When we finally sat down we picked what we wanted because we already knew. Well it the group who was waiting for behind us got their server before we did. They had already ordered drink and their first round. WE WERE STILL WAITING! 3 tables noticed that after 15 MINUTES we had STILL NOT been serviced. It took 4 people to find out my table was NEVER assigned a server. The kind server from the other table said she could take over for me. At this point my sister had already walked out of the restaurant. I stayed because I really wanted to give this place a chance. After I order I finally received my drink. However, MY FOOD NEVER CAME!! The table in front of me was on their 3rd round! The gentleman who brought their food asked if I was still waiting and I said yes but I'm leaving. I was done. I was not going to wait any longer. I left the restaurant very...
