Jack in the Box — Restaurant in Vacaville

The kids wanted to eat Jack in the Box tonight. They have some good Mobile App deals so I ordered through the App for pick up in the Drive Thru. When I arrived (~10 minutes), my order was ready. Just drove up, told them my name and they passed it through the window to me, super simple. When I was driving away, the kids text me an additional order, so I went and inside to place the order. They die not have many employees working on a Saturday evening and I can see why as there was no one dining inside. They did have some drive thru and mobile orders which they were focused on. When my number was called, the server told me hold on, because he needed to get my drinks. Instead of getting my drinks (their soft drink machine was broken, so they had to pour the drinks for me inside), he proceeded to deliver a mobile order which outside, so I ended up waiting a few more minutes despite him calling my order number. I did not appreciate that he called me up then proceeded to deliver another order instead of just getting my drinks first. He could have had one of the 2 other people working pour my drinks while he delivered the other order outside. The food was fair, not too hot and the fries were a little soggy by the time I got home, so they did not have a crunch to them anymore and the Jumbo Jack was not so jumbo anymore (more like the Jr Jumbo Jack now, wonder how small the Jr Jumbo Jack is now). The staff are kind, the place is clean, they usually do not mess up my food. However I have NEVER had a restaraunt give my food to strangers who cannot show them the receipt for a mobile order to recieve it. Twice in the last few weeks I have placed mobile orders and arrived to pick up within ten minutes to be told someone came in and took it ahead of me. The staff told me the first time the lady must have read my name on the receipt behind the counter to ask for my order by name. Today I was told the MAN in front of me in the drive thru, AFTER I had placed my name at the speaker, was able to use my name and collect my order two cars ahead of me. I was then told that they used to verify receipts, but do not anymore, and that this apparently happens here a lot now because they do not verify the order pick up. It is scary having strangers access your name and pick up your order out from in front of you. I will no longer be going to this location, an am very concerned about other locations now as well. This second time, they almost did not want to remake my order despite agreeing that the MANS name and VOICE did not match my order nor my voice at their speaker and still giving him my food. I never thought I'd be alarmed like this, but honestly the fact the staff are aware of the issue and that it happens daily here, and still allow this to happen so easily is upsetting. I ordered my food on the app. at this location by accident. I was able to select curbside pick up but doors were locked and nothing was posted on the door to express this. I had to get in the drive-thru line (very long) and then had to sit in the line for over 30 min, & about 15 minutes into this experience had to back my car out because in front of me a car wanted to leave and they had not even made it to the ordering screen and wanted to leave . I wish I could have done the same thing but per the order on the app I had already requested my food be made the payment and a refund was not an option I had to wait. When I got to the window the food was ready, overcooked and cold but it was ready. Staff was friendly with the minimal interaction I did have and all my food with sauce was ready. I think it is important to recognize that I do believe the staff was trying and probably understaffed but also that out of the 3 locations in Vacaville this continues to be the worst. With previous visits to this location the long drive-thru times and sub-par food is why I had avoided it despite being closer to my home and was very very very disappointed my app. accidentally selected it and I realized too late.
