On September 30, 2025, I went to this restaurant to have lunch with my one-year-old. I ordered, sat down, and ate when I finished eating. I decided to go buy dessert. I made my order cashier(an older lady I would say in her late 50’s, medium-dark complexion, with a piercing on her nose) gave me my total and I handed her a $50 bill. She then holds my $50 bill and asks me if I have a smaller bill. I then reply no so we stare at each other and smile, to make it easier for them I decide to pay with my card. (Even though there’s a 50 Cent fee if you use card so my total went up $.50 )I use Apple Pay mind you she is still holding my $50. She asked me if I wanted a receipt. I say no then she tells me that my order will be out shortly I grab my one-year-old and sit down at my table. She takes the dessert to me. I eat it. I clean around my table. I clean up the floor and as I’m walking out, someone holds the door for me in my mind I remembered never receiving my $50 but I didn’t want to accuse anyone before I was sure that's not who I am so I go to my car count my money, and realize that in fact I am missing $50. Check my pockets check my purse again take a deep breath hoping she tells me yes you forgot it here. I go in and I ask her and she tells me “Are you sure you didn’t drop it?” “did you check everything” “you had so many things on your hands” “check again” she then goes to the table where I was sitting and says it’s not over there. I tell her yes I’m sure I already double checked in my head still thinking maybe she did give it to me and I forgot and I dropped it so I asked her kindly. Do you think you can check the cameras for me so I can see that I grab the money she then calls a different cashier a tall on the heavy-set side, light-skinned girl with thick eyebrows and she tells me “Hold on let me call my manager so they can check the cameras.” I say OK, thank you. I stand there and they tell me Go ahead and sit down so you don’t have to stand here I go and I sit down. I wait 30 minutes right next to the register after 30 minutes. I see she checks her phone and she whispers she didn’t take her money then they look at each other and start looking everywhere for it and “she asks her well then where is it?” and the cashier who took the $50 bill says “I don’t know” they start to act like they’re looking around. I went up there and I asked them what’s gonna happen. The tall heavy one tells me that “the camera shows that none of us took it” and I then respond. OK then who took it she says I don’t know and so I asked her “Did I take it?” She stares blankly at me so then I smile and I ask her If I didn’t take it can I have my money back? She then tells me to hold on. “I need to see what my manager‘s gonna say.” I wait another 30 minutes and at this point, they’re just acting like nothing happened, but they are very quiet. Both of them they’re whispering to each other. The chefs are whispering with each other, and the woman continues to blame me for the situation. I then understand what’s going on. I understand that they know who took it and they are covering up for that person I go up to them and tell them what is gonna happen and with a very bad attitude, she tells me “I’m gonna count the money and they register and if it’s not here, we’ll see.”she counts the money and she tells me there’s $140 in there so they lied to me. They did have money to give me back my change. I then tell her so what’s gonna happen and she tells me well at this point we’re gonna have to call the police to open an investigation and I tell her but what comes up in the camera and they look at each other and then they look down and ignore me and I tell her I’m going to call the police she says with very bad Attitude. “Go ahead” I called the nonemergency line and I told them what’s happening and they told me that they are going to send an officer my way. I waited for the officers for like about an hour they got there. I tell them what’s going on they go in and talk to them and when they come out, they tell me that they do not want to...
Read moreWe had business to conduct down in Fairfield today. Were from Rancho Cordova. My LT recommended this spot after a quick glance around on the map. Fantastic call. The menu is small which tells you they're really good at what they do.
I got the Asada Torta (spicy w/ extra cheese). Torta was 10/10.
My LT got the asada burrito (mild). Burrito was a 7/10- could've used a bit more flavor as the beans and rice (which are very high quality by the way)- kinda took away from the seasoning on the meat. However, to be fair we split the torta and burrito so we could both try two things off the menu. Torta for the win. Can't wait to go back and eat there again.
Service was fantastic- the cooks cook your food fresh to order. Looks like they make their own chips there too. I would HIGHLY...
Read moreThe FINEST taqueria I’ve ever been too. Just from the outside, great area, super clean store front, nice sign, clean uncluttered branding. Coming in, aesthetic interior design with low lighting, clean floors, CLEAN(not sticky) tables. Uncluttered and Very presentable front counter. Well organized and easy to read menu on a big screen. Well cooled inside. Pleasant staff and great customer service! The food was DELICIOUS! The Super burrito packed quality asada meat, juicy and very cheesy!! The lime wasn’t dry. The chips were fresh and crispy not free but well worth the $5. This place sets the bar for taquerias!!! If I’m eating out in Vacaville this is the GO TO!! Solid 5 stars. Not sure why anyone would rate this place...
