I was surprised. There was a display of Nakajima Aircraft from the Japanese military during World War II.I wanted to ask the staff, but for some reason on the day I visited there was a private group eating pizza🍕 and it looked very busy. This Nakajima Aircraft's engine is not original, and it does not have an N number, so it is unclear whether it was actually flown in the U.S. after being restored. It's difficult to ride a tandem with three people. I'd love to see it flying. Other vintage planes have N numbers, so they are believed to have actually flown. There was also an exhibit that looked like a wartime cave or hideout, and I was very excited to look at it. I would love to visit again.

Don't miss the hidden gem in Vacaville: Rowland Freedom Center with big knowledge & friendly faces. While it may be smaller in size, it still has a good collection and, most importantly, incredible volunteers who made it a great visit. From the moment I walked in, friendly and knowledgeable volunteers greeted me with genuine enthusiasm for aviation history. They weren't just there to point at displays; they were eager to share stories, insights, and answer any questions. Immerse yourself in the history of flight 🤙🏾

This is a small museum but well worth the visit. It has several vintage wartime aircrafts as well as some military vehicles from World War Two. All of the their items are well displayed. When I was there, the workers were very welcoming and inviting constantly asking if I had questions. One of them gave me a small tour on one of their exhibitions. One of the most unusual piece of history that they have is a part of the famous USS Battleship Arizona from World War Two that was sunk in Perl Harbor, Hawaii.

Very tiny museum but the experience is good! Volunteers have made the most of the displays and aircraft. They have some vehicles on loan from the Armory museum which is just a few miles west on I 80.

Excellent place for studies on USO, World War II, and United States Military History. Certain days may ask for donations. GI Joe Toys memorabilia is an unforgettable adventure through time.

Awesome museum, Tom was very nice and gave us a great tour of all the exhibits. It had a good mix of airplanes and Military displays. I'll definitely come back the next time I'm in town.
