Well first of all once management reads this they should know exactly who this is why is everything so watery!! Will my husband and I decided to visit this place since we were in Georgia because the ones that we have at home are always great but this one was a disaster first of all I ordered a top shelf margarita which is supposed to be made with three types of Patron and then have a floater with it which I asked for Don Julio I drink nothing but top shelf tequila and I know the taste when someone is trying to give me well tequila and that's what I was served in the first cocktail was nothing but well tequila and it was watered down it tasted like water I had the manager go and remake it the second one it did taste more like alcohol it did taste more like Patron or Don Julio. Then I ordered two shots of Don Julio and they gave me well again I think management needs to check their bottles because someone has switched their Patron out for well tequila and the same with the Don Julio they need to actually sit down and taste what is coming out of those bottles because it has been switched take it from someone who knows. Next I ordered a 16 oz ribeye it was so tough it was like sawing through it with a steak knife it was more like beef jerky that steak must have been sitting around a while so again I had to call the manager over and even he himself saw me try to cut the steak and saw the quality of the state and said no no no no no that's not that's not good so he went to make me another state I told him let's do a 12-ounce steak instead cuz I figured that is what they're used to cooking also I asked for some macaroni and cheese the macaroni and cheese was watery it was like they forgot to drain the noodles I showed the manager that and he again apologized then he recommended I get the green beans and again I called him back over to the table and showed him that the green beans were floating on top of the bowl with all this water left in the bowl and I asked him where they having a problem with leaking water or something in the kitchen cuz everything was coming out watery. Finally I did get my 12 oz steak it came out perfectly what's the idea of my husband and I going out to have a dinner together did not happen he ain't he is and then he had to sit while I ate mine well try to eat mine it was done in pieces this was just a disaster the food was not good it is not up to Texas Roadhouse standards and you guys know when I leave a review I tell you the truth. Add to top it all off in the middle of the night I woke up with the worst headache that you can imagine from all of that well tequila and I only get those kind of headaches when I used to drink well tequila you do not get those headaches from Don Julio or Patron or any higher price tequila that's why I don't drink the cheap stuff. If this location had any self-respect about themselves they would refund us all of our money just because the experience was absolutely terrible The Waitresses know it and both of the managers know it and the bartender knows it the older lady and the young girl and like I said we visited plenty of Texas Road houses but this makes us think again. And please buy some strainers for the kitchen one big enough to strain the pasta and beans add a label that has holes in it in order to get out the vegetables so that there's not water in everything that's just an FYI. I've attached a copy of my receipt just in case your company wants to do the right thing and keep good customers because your managers know that this...
Read moreI honestly don't know where to start. This was a disaster! My family decided to celebrate my nephew's 16th birthday at this location, and now I wish we could've celebrated at a different establishment. From the poor service, to the food and management is really lacking.
Service - our waiter was pretty much nonexistent. So we will call her Houdini!! Houdini came and took the orders for our drinks and disappeared for 15 minutes. She finally came back with drinks but did something that was unsanitary. She sat our drinks on that were on a tray at another group's table. The patrons at that table and our waitress were laughing, talking and making jokes over our drinks, until she handed out the drinks and finally took the food orders. After all the food orders were in, we waited an additional 15 minutes or maybe longer just for them to bring out 5 salads. After she brought the salads, Houdini disappeared again. We literally waited 45 minutes to an hour before the food came out. This was after the salads. It is terrible and not acceptable no matter what establishment you go to.
Food - When Houdini finally brought out the food, everything we ordered was cold. From the steaks, mashed potatoes, green beans, you name it, it was cold. It felt like they took our plates and placed them in a freezer and then brought them out. So we did what anyone would do in that situation, we sent everything back and had them remake it. They took the food back to the kitchen and now we're back to waiting. After 15 minutes, the manager came back with the same food we sent back to the kitchen to have them remake. They literally had taken the food we sent back and put everything in the microwave or a heater oven and brought it back out. That's not what we asked for. We asked for it to be remade and brought out to us at the appropriate temperature. If I wanted food to be reheated in a microwave, I could go get a hot pocket.
Management- I don't know a lot about being a manager of a restaurant, but I do know how to manage people and deal with situations that are not going well. I'm an active duty service member who's been in the Navy for over 20 years. I would like to think that a manager of a restaurant such as this one, would come and rectify the problem and make sure the customer is taking care of/also be able to take care of their employees. That didn't happen here. When the issues were brought to the manager, she never once apologized for the poor service or food quality, but she honestly her demeanor felt like we should've been satisfied with the poor service and food quality. Not only did she not apologize, but she was the one who brought back out the microwaved/hot oven food, which put the stamp on it. You approved of everything that was going wrong on that evening. I don't expect service like this from any establishment but I understand we are human and we have bad days but as a manager it's your job to provide hospitality and great customer service which wasn't the case.
Moving forward, I wouldn't recommend anyone to eat here, and I'll make sure that everyone I'm connected to don't go to this particular Texas Roadhouse, especially those staying at Wingate hotel. This experience sucked and it ruined a milestone for my family and nephew. You only turn 16 once and due to negligence, poor service and management,...
Read moreWe come here at least 1-2 times a week and have continued to have issue with being sat at handicap accessible areas. Today was just my final straw.
My daughter has cerebral palsy which affects her muscle tone. She is unable to sit in a high chair or booster seat because of this. We asked for a handicap accessible table because we bring her in her stroller vs her bigger medical wheelchair. When we arrived we were being seated at a high top table. Which is not handicap accessible so we were sent back to the front to wait on another table that was handicap accessible and it would be ready in 10 minutes. While waiting we seen a huge table that was open and we inquired about that and we were told that we could not get that table as the only table open in that room was a 6 top (we had 8 including my daughter) and would need manager approval to open that table and close the 6 top. When I talked with the manage he told that he could not do that as the server for that section already had a large party and they wouldn’t even be seating a 6 top there because that would be too much for the server. I questioned him on having handicap accessible seating and he was told that there were other customers sitting in those areas. That are not handicap and that this is a very busy restaurant that can not keep a handicap accessible table open just for a handicap party. So we waited about 20 minutes and then I seen them put a 6 top at the table the manager said they wouldn’t be seating anyone at so I went back to the hostess stand and was told our table was not ready as the other customers were still sitting there. A couple minutes go by and they told us to gather my party. We went to the table they had for us and after sitting down we were told that my daughter wouldn’t be able to be there because of her bing in the way of them coming around the Corner. I told the server that we were told this is a handicap table and have waited for over 30 minutes for this table. She mentioned us moving across the restaurant to the table that we originally inquired about. I told her what the manager said and she said she would be back. They ending up moving us to the table that we originally inquired about and that server served us as they were going to assign us to the serve for that section. We opted to keep the server that had us moved. Her name was Tiffany and she was absolutely AMAZING.
The manager was just very rude about the entire situation and just kept telling me I needed to understand that this is a very busy restaurant.
I really wish this restaurant would train their staff on ADA accommodations. Again, we have had this issue multiple times and it shouldn’t be such a fight for my daughter to be able to sit at...
