I am so disappointed with the service Iâve been receiving lately at this particular KFC. In the past 2-3 months Iâve made a total of four visits. The first time in a long time, that I purchased food it was so good. I ordered two wings just to put on my stomach before heading back home. They were so fresh I went back and purchased two more. I couldnât wait to go back back. Weeks later, I did and it was so different. I gave it the benefit of the doubt by returning on a different date. It was pretty much the same bad experience. The food wasnât really what Iâd call old but because the grease they fried it in was old, it made the food almost difficult to eat. I went one time and it tasted as if the cook accidentally dropped a box of salt in the batter. As a woman that likes salt, I knew the food was too salty if I couldnât eat it. Today, it wasnât as salty but again the grease definitely needs to be changed. The food taste just like overused grease! The Cole slaw was dry and thatâs mind boggling. The cabbage wasnât fresh in it. It has completely lost its crunch. I can only assume they didnât throw the old Cole slaw away but saved it longer than what they should. I definitely wonât be back. Thatâs one too many times of money wasted. The customer service could use a little more positive energy but no one has ever been drastically rude so thatâs a plus.    Read moreUpdate: Food is still just as good. They now have ordering kiosks but they do have a register so you can still opt to order from a cashier. Tried the kiosk and enjoyed the ability to customize meals and substitute individual pieces without the "we don't have any wings cooked" feedback from a cashier. Our only gripe was that the women's bathroom needed to be cleaned. The wife couldn't use it because someone had left a total mess all over one toilet and dropped a "brick" in another. Dropped a star for that.
Older review: I rarely rate chain restaurants above 4 stars unless the experience is a little above and beyond what is the norm for the chain. This KFC location was just that. My family stopped here a quick bite on our way back from St. Augustine. Our cashier was very friendly and helpful. She made sure our orders were correct. The food was very fresh. This location seems to cook in smaller batches to ensure that the food doesn't sit too long. I had a 4 pc Nashville Hot tenders meal with potato wedges. The wedges were freshly cooked. The tenders were perfectly coated with the hot seasoning blend. Not overly drenched like some locations. I normally opt for a 4 pc over a 3 pc because most locations tenders seem wimpy, but the tenders here were actually nice sized. I was actually stuffed when I got done. My son had the Georgia Gold 3 pc. He loved it just as much as I did my meal. My wife and girls opted for bone-in chicken and raved about the freshness and it being better than most other KFC...
