Ordered our food in the app, they no longer do the $4/$5 Biggie Bags, it's now $5/$6 Biggie Bags & on the app it doesn't give you the option to swap an item out like you can do inside/ through the drive thru, and yes would've paid the extra difference, 2 of us wanted cheese fries & chilli cheese fries instead of regular fries 🍟& 1 of the orders we wanted to swap out the fries for a chicken sandwich and we got 4 - $6 Biggie Bags also I don't like ice @ all in any of my drinks and there wasn't an option for that, so we had to tell them @ the window & ended up having to order extra special cheese fries 4 one order and chili cheese fries for the other order & also had to order an extra Chicken sandwich instead of being able to swap the fries 🍟 out and paying the difference, so really thought ok we're going to get a good deal with the Biggie Bags and not have to spend an arm & leg for 4 - $6 Biggie Bags (NOT) our order came to over $40 which is ridiculous and I understand everything's went up but this was ridiculous and the Drive thru was so busy so that's why we pulled into a parking spot and ordered on the app & before you say why didn't you go inside instead of being lazy, they were also busy inside as well and I'm Handicapped and was already having trouble walking & having major nerve spasms through out my whole body or we would've went inside, the girl doing the order you could tell she was very overwhelmed with our order which if there would've been the option to swap out an item it would of been a lot easier & we also wouldn't of ended up with 3 extra fries 🍟 that 3 out of 4 of us don't want, the food was good, like I said just disappointed that you can swap something out on the app for something else & willing to pay the difference, they've done this several times for us I the past ordering @ the Drive thru, so I'm not very impressed with the app sometimes apps are not all that, you think you're making it easier on yourself and the employees and that's not always the case with ordering with an app evidently and that's where I was really not impressed with the app & the cost after everything was said & done & yes could've not ordered & went somewhere else except everyone wanted Wendy's and thought oh yeah & it won't be that expensive, lesson learned for me and I won't be using there app ever, someone else did the order on there phone since they already had the app, like I said I definitely want be using or downloading there app that's...
Read moreJust thought I'd drop a line here, for I use Google reviews for most items and it's important to me that others know what I see. We stopped in this store at 10:30pm or so Sunday night. The location is great, right off I75. The store is well lit, and to be honest, looks different and bigger and brighter than other Wendy's from the outside. That's about where I thought it was any good. Had to stop in the restroom and it was atrocious, splatter everywhere, paper towels all over the floor. I guess the employee who was just coming out when I went in was not very interested in the condition. I was skeeved out enough to try and not touch anything, got the paper towel and used it to open the door to exit. Then we went to order, nobody else in the entire store. Waited a few minutes till a young lady came up, took the order and then disappeared. Waited about 10 minutes for 2 burgers and had no choice but to look around. The floor was so sticky and slippery at the same time, that my wife almost slipped while standing there. The walls, the floor and the windows were all disgusting. I am not the pickiest person ever, my wife is, but we waited it out. Got the food and left. The burger was OK but that is cause I ordered cheeseburger with ketchup only. And a small fries... how can you possibly do those bad? The fries were soggy, not hot and I swear, one of them was literally ice cold...like it never saw any cooking. Ugh. What a disgusting fast food experience. I had to wait so I read the lovely testimonials about the place in 2012 by a Mr. Donaldson. Well, guess what - that may have been a good place 6 years ago, but if so, it's gone down the tubes. I'd suggest a major overhaul, starting with steam cleaning the entire place and hire some young people who give a damn. Guess the good news is I will have more time on future trips, cause I'll have one less place to consider...
Read moreSlow Slow Slow. Saturday February 24, 2024 at 7: 00 pm. Stood in line for 15 min. Waited another 20 to finally get food to go. There is a very interesting plague on the wall about how the franchise owner came up with the WOW way of serving his customers and it was later adopted by Dave Thomas to be the future of Wendy's interactions with their customers. It obviously does not apply anymore. You would think that a $61.84 order would be just as much a priority as a $1.00 order, not happening with this crew, it seemed to be more of a hassle. The poor kid on the register was so lost and soft spoken, everything had to be repeated and had to have it read back. Took assistance from 2 other teammates to get it rung up wrong. 3rd assistant confirmed no cheese. Well, 3 burgers ordered, only 1 with cheese, they all had cheese when we sat down to eat. 1 single did not get ate because of that. Fries were luke warm and mushy from sitting so long, ended up tossing 2 orders in the trash because they obviously had been sitting longer than the others. Buns were cold, meat was just barely warm and dry. OMG, the lettuce was disgusting. Nuggets were very dark brown and not hot. In my frustration I forgot to ask for my large drink cup, my bad, but should have been given to me when I tendered my hard earned cash to them. The only positives on the whole experience were the place was across the street, not busy, looked clean and the Frosty's had not melted, yet. No WOW experience here. Should have had...
