I pulled into the drive thru at the Valley, AL location and no one says anything on the speaker. No greeting, no hold on for minute, just silence. After sitting there for 4-5 mins I say "hello..?" only to be immediately told "it's gonna be a minute". There's only one car at the window and no other cars in the drive thru the whole time I'm there. I really want a baked potato so I say "okay" and keep waiting another 10 minutes before they say I can go ahead with my order. I say that I want to order two chili cheese potatoes and the cashier tells me that they are out of potatoes! 😡😡😡 She didnt say sorry or can I get you anything else. Just went right back to silence. so of course I pulled off cause there was nothing else I wanted. I dont know what's going on at this Wendy's but this has been happening way too often over there lately. It's really ridiculous that you have to wait that long and they dont even have what you want. Why cant they tell you what they are out of before you order?? I'd understand if they were about to close but I was there at 9:30pm. Theyre not going to...
Read moreOk, so I seen the recent ⭐ reviews and thought something didn't seem right after so many 5's. So I checked the place out. Miss Lisa, who took our order, explained they had their GM and a few Managers walk out at the SAME TIME a lil over a week ago. About the time the 1 star reviews started. Coincidence? 😏 Anyways... Yes we waited a little, BECAUSE the ones that were working today at 230 literally got hired and thrown into the mix along with the stand in GM not having any help. So they are trying and yet STILL give great customer service and wonderful food. Everything we ordered came out perfect and the workers were very courteous and professional even when left in the predicament they are in. So if you go here just remember you don't know what's going on behind the scenes, have patience and give them a smile. It might make...
Read moreWendy’s in Valley, AL is basically my second home — I’m here so much I’m expecting them to start charging me rent. I order through the app like a responsible adult (aka: points addict), and most days the food is chef’s kiss. Fresh, hot, and ready to go.
Buuuut… every once in a while I get a sandwich that feels like it’s been sunbathing on the heater since breakfast. Not a deal-breaker, but definitely a "hmm" moment.
The staff, though? Super friendly and always helpful — shoutout to the crew for staying cool under pressure. Just don’t expect to blaze through the drive-thru during lunch hour unless you brought a podcast, a snack, and possibly a book. 10 minutes is the standard wait time, but hey, I’ve waited longer for worse.
Still, good vibes, solid food, and I’m racking up rewards like a lunch-time legend. See...
