This is what my experience was like at this Arby's located in Valparaiso IN on Calumet Ave. I arrived here around 10am on 8/14/2023 to purchase my lunch before work. I pull up to the drive thru and this is what I saw before I can even order not to mention waiting before someone responded to take my order. At the time it was only me. Someone finally addressed me by asking me if I could come inside because of a delivery truck blocking the drive thru. As the lady is speaking there are several other cars pulling up but turning around leaving because of the blocking from the delivery truck. So the lady finally comes outside to my car and asks to take my order and what payment method will be used. I told her my order which was the Greek gyro meal and that I will be paying with cash, and can she make sure it's hot and fresh. I also asked her how long the delivery truck will be before moving because I can wait so that she wouldn't have to keep walking outside to my car because I didn't feel well enough to come inside the store, even though it's after 10am and this is unacceptable considering other cars are turning around because of this meaning losing money/ business. So I'm waiting she's coming through the intercom and asked if I can backup my car out the drive thru because the delivery truck is going to be a awhile. By time I reverse my car to the dine inn door I waited more time for my food just to get it and it's not even fresh nor hot😡. I'm so upset at this point because of the inconvenience this early morning on top of me having to be at work. I asked for a manager but couldn't speak to one because of helping with delivery truck. Ok fine, so I asked if I can get accommodated for the inconvenience and wait time. She goes ask her manger Justin who was very rude and he stated No in those exact words. Never once took the time to apologize for the inconvenience of the drive thru or anything just plan rude and thought my experience was a joke. This is unacceptable customer service. Read moreI went into the drive thru around 5:50PM and ordered. Upon getting home my wife noticed we were missing an ENTIRE Turkey Bacon Ranch Sandwich. I called the store, but the manager was only willing to replace the sandwich with a potential free turnover or cookie. This doesn't replace the cold food I now have at home sitting while my wife and I had to go back to the store to get the sandwich. The manager was self righteous and very passive, considering she was only willing to give us a free turnover or cookie for the "inconvenience" that HER staffed caused. She acted as of it was our fault for the incident. Upon going back to the store she didn't even give me the turnover until I mentioned that it was offered. Her attitude reflects the store and company as a whole. Even her staff looks like they are tired of her. Upon trying to call into corporate or contact Arby's directly, they notified me for some reason that their location "doesn't accept surveys"... 🤔🤯🧐 I come to this location frequently and EVERYTIME they end up forgetting something and then attempt to compensate me the bare minimum. The store definitely needs new management considering the one currently doesn't seem to care about the customers inconvenience, all the while the store isn't even able to be held accountable for their actions because they can't have surveys reported. If it was a one time thing, I could deal with it, BUT IT IS EVERYTIME. 🤯🤯🤯💔💔💔 Stay away from this location. I love Arby's but the manager at this location needs an attitude adjustment. Read moreCame here on Sunday all they said when I pulled up was “hey” and I sat there waiting they didn’t say anything else so I started to order her just saying “ok” after everything I say. Lady barely listened to me when I was ordering and was just dead silent. Pulled up and she messed up almost the whole order. I noticed we were given curly fries instead of crinkle and she came and took the bag to replace it and told us to pull forward. She came out with the fries and I told her that I asked for two chicken sliders and we were only given one ( which we were only charged for one and had no problem paying for another) she just stared at me and said okay hold on then turned around and waved her arm in the air. She then came back a couple minutes later and said “ can you pull around and order again” and walked back in. I didn’t feel like dealing with her anymore so I just left if they had just listened when I ordered and rang it in right it wouldn’t have been messed up.
