Our service was AWFUL. We used to come here all the time but absolutely not after this experience. We came in with a party of 9 so we expected the wait to take a little longer than normal. What we did not expect is to wait over an hour for food, AND in that hour we were waiting our server only checked on us once for refills and we didn’t really see her anywhere to flag her down. I finally found the server and asked about our food, she said “I think it just came out, I don’t know. I’ll check. Sorry.” Another ten minutes went by. No food. No server. I then located a “manager” who told us “maybe the ticket got lost, I’ll check. No ticket has been over 30 minutes.” I also made sure to inform said manager that the waitress had checked on us only once. Manager then came over to our table to inform us that we had not been waiting for an hour(he was right, it was an hour and 15 minutes at that point) and the food had only been cooking for 25 minutes. We then polled the entire table in front of the manager and our entire party let him know the server had only been here once and we had been waiting way longer than 25 minutes. The manager left and our food magically appeared. Although both burgers were cooked wrong (medium rare came out well, well done) the food was decent. Nothing to write home about but at least it wasn’t ice cold. Also, after I spoke with the manager, our server was magically Johnny on the spot..checking on us multiple times and bringing out multiple refills at a record pace before we even had the chance to drink half of the beverage from the refill she JUST brought. By that point though it was too late. It became very apparent to us that up until she was talked to, she didn’t care because she already had that auto grat she was banking on. Read moreBuffalo wild wings is a place we enjoy going as a family. Tonight I was very disappointed. I have ordered a buffalo chicken salad. Online shows you can get it grilled. I ordered it grilled. It came out with 2, yes 2, tiny, very thin pieces of grilled chicken. I'm not even exaggerating, this was 1/4 of a chicken breast and likely had been cut/filet. It was so thin. When you order it crispy you get two to three pieces of chicken tenders. I had looked at the menu at the caesar salad that had grilled chicken and it had an entire breast, sliced and thick. So that's what I thought I would be getting for the buffalo one. It was $15 for basically a side salad. I know this because my husband ordered a side salad with his burger. I ate the salad though. Maybe I should have sent it back I don't know. I just know we won't be dining there anymore after this. Our waitress was kind and it has nothing to do with her service. The manager came to clear a few items and asked how everything was, I said it was alright. As I said we won't be dining there anymore. I'm just in disbelief the cook would send this out. Now the bathrooms. I wasn't aware Valpo had hard water. You would think they did by the ring in every single toilet where the water sits. The backs of the toilets are also dirty. Read moreI don't like to give less than five stars being a business professional I know how much it can damage your reputation. However, there seems to be a huge disconnect between the service that the front cashier knows and the management. Due to this error or misunderstanding our food sat there for an unnecessarily long time. Without any type of compensation or trying to correct the issue. #1 our food was not prepared on time. And we ordered earlier in the day. #2 it does not process your payment online like it states or the staff tells you it does #3 the front person said he would go get a manager to help and never left the front counter #4 I had to call to speak to a manager and she was unaware of any situation at the front. Then once I had get on the phone it was a simple fix. But we were delayed over 10 minutes of our food not being done and then another 20 to get the payment issue fixed. Which delayed our entire evening over half an hour and our food was not it's freshest when we had got it home. I addressed these concerns with the manager with no empathy for the situation or offer to comp or even the smallest apology. My boyfriend loves BWW but we will start using portage.
