Chicago Street Theatre — Attraction in Valparaiso

My husband and I love this theater. They present interesting and entertaining plays. The actors are from the local area and do a very good job. It is a small theater, and the house staff is very accommodating of people who require special seating. When I was on crutches, I was seated in the first row so that I didn't have to climb stairs. The show was fabulous!!! I bought the last two tickets for the last Evil Dead show online and our seats weren't together. I asked if it were possible to get seats together when we arrived, but they said sorry it was a sold out show. We were ok with sitting separately even though it was our anniversary. But just before the show started a guy came over to tell me the seat next to my husband was vacant and said I could move. It was a really nice gesture. The cast was great! It was a really fun night!! From the delicious hot chocolate to the magnificent stage production (‘Twas the Night Before Christmas”), it was a delightful event!
