So I went here for the Corn festival..$15 in advance per person..This includes 1 brat, bag of chips, bottle water or soda and watch 2 bands and all u can eat corn in the cob..Now I only did this as the Kiwanis is a good organization.Everyone that is part of that organization was very friendly and welcoming. Overall it was a cool night to get out and explore downtown..The band was nothing that even caught my attention.. The vendor selling elephant ears should not be allowed to false advertise like that..They were deep frying pita bread and calling it elephant ears..No joke..It was advertised there was a beer garden..That's not what that was..It was a beer truck with a few beers on tap..Because there was only 1 the line was out of control.Waaaaay long.. I would attend again ONLY because the proceeds are for a good cause...

Splash pad is overcrowded slick and built for looks around the central park area. Come on valpo... You have a huge area a ton of population and in the past 5 years since I refused to go back to that splash pad there hasn't been any talks of a new one being built or already done somewhere? Chestertons outranks valpo 100/1. 1. It wasn't built as a part of the town decor. 2. It has buckets, fountains, waterfalls not just water shooting out of the ground, 3. it isn't slick like there is a film of algea on it.

Why hasnt there there been one put up by valplayso, or any other park in valpo rather than in the middle of town that gets overcrowded, parking sucks, and just overall awful. We should have a splash pad people come from towns around to an experience at least once. But then again by the time that happens now my kids will be too old. But for the sake of my potential grandchildren get with the other cities around here and make the splash pad great...

Beautiful plaza, we went there to share the gospel of Jesus Christ, we walked around and admired the artwork and the chalk the walk event, we politely handed out gospel flyers with very very little objections, mostly people thanking us for the flyers, we even had people commending us for what we were doing. One lady even wanted to donate money to us. The woman running the event (Belinda) apparently hates Jesus and is totally against Christianity . she tried to kick us off of public property which she has no authority to do. We politely left as we are not interested in fighting. It is sad that this woman thinks she has the right to stifle the preaching of the Gospel. We will be praying for her to come to a saving faith in...
