Hate to leave a one star review on a small business. But the attitude of the female employee was astronomically terrible. She was loud and rude. It was my first time in there so i’m looking around. And then it’s my turn. I ask what’s popular or what she recommends. “Honey, we’ve been open for 11 years everything’s popular” and laughs it off. First of all, 11 years is nothing to brag about. And second of all, if you want to get new customers and keep them, that isn’t the way to do it. I work at a small business down the road and i would never ever say that to a new customer. Got 18 chocolates and it came out to about $38. In my opinion, the chocolate is over hyped and over priced. I haven’t tried their pastries but i don’t think i’d come back considering how rude the woman was. Entitled isn’t a good...

I came here because I was at the Mexican grocery store across the street and it just happened to catch my eye. When I googled it I saw chocolate covered strawberries in those are my weakness so I decided to stop inside. I felt kind of bad because they close in 30 minutes but I really wanted to give it a go The woman there was very nice very knowledgeable knew everything about every single chocolate there and didn't seem to care that I was there a half hour before they closed she helped me she talked with me she acted like she cared and it seemed sincere and genuine and I will definitely be coming back here very very soon. Myself, my husband and son make regular trips from Bourbonnais, IL to purchase chocolates at the shop. We have now gotten on a first name basis with Richard and his lovely wife, as they are always the only ones running the shop. They are so personable and knowledgeable. Richard is a true artisan when it comes to chocolate and other confections. I am a self-professed chocoholic and have tried chocolates in several major cities all over the U.S. as well as in several countries. His are the best and that is no small compliment. I always look forward to our chocolate shop...
