I had been ordering from this establishment so frequently that I know most of the staff by name. Jose is one of the best cooks there when he's working. I had 2 experience with them (this last order included) when I ordered a deep dish with extra cheese, and it clearly wasn't extra cheese. The first time the owner was very polite and offered to remake the order and apologized. On this last incident, not only was there not extra cheese, but the pizza was supposed to be half cheese only, half pepperoni. Also my calzone barely had any chees (I forgot to snap a picture of that). I called and expressed my dissatisfaction to the owner. He offered no apologies for putting pepperoni on the entire pizza (my 6 yr old daughter doesn't eat pepperoni). He said that this was the 3rd time he had a problem with me complaining. He said I will remake the pizza, but not the calazone. I then requested a refund on the calazone because I had not eaten any of it and I was unsatisfied. He said he would only refund the entire order if I brought it back. I said fine just remake the pizza and you can have the calazone back because I don't want it.
When I got there he said "just don't rock with us anymore if you don't like our food. That's what I would do if I were you." I told him I can't believe he doesn't care any more about customer service than this. He then said, "I've been in business 15 years, I serve all the business and schools in this area!" Which isn't true because all the schools are partnered with Hungry Howies. The whole point of a deep dish is to have cheese backed to the edges, everyone knows that. He then told me I was tripping to hard over a pizza. I told him I am "tripping" about my money I spent. This is how he speaks to customers. The arrogance was unbelievable. He doesn't care about the little man's business and satisfaction. I never once raised my voice or used any profanity. Just unprofessional and the worst example of a business owner I have seen in some time! Sad. His excuse was the amount of time that had passed. I told him my wife picked the pizza up because I was at football practice with my kids. I just got home and have a child that can't eat now because of his mistake of putting pepperoni on the whole pizza. Again no apologies. Didn't even care about ruining the child's...
Read moreExcellent first experience here at Happy's Pizza, despite a couple minor issues. Ordered a medium Hawaiian pizza, breadsticks, cheese wedges, and a piece of chocolate cake. Food arrived on time and the delivery man was very polite. The food was fresh, cooked properly, and tasted amazing. Absolutely no complaints on the quality of food, price and the portions were great - especially for the breadsticks (you get 12 big breadsticks for I think it was only $3.99). The only issue was that they had forgotten to put pineapple on the Hawaiian pizza and had forgotten to put my chocolate cake in with my stuff. I called and spoke with a very polite female worker who quickly put me right through to her manager. He was very apologetic and polite, offered to send a whole new pizza and the cake right away. As my kids were already happy eating the pizza and I had already eaten a piece (it was really good) I told him not to worry about the pizza but to just send the cake. Not to long later a different delivery man arrived and apologized for the mistake. The cake was great, very large piece that was perfect for me and my two young children to share together. Overall, despite those two minor things that had slipped past them I was very pleased with my experience and will continue to order through them! I have ordered from Jets in this area and was not to pleased with them and my husband orders from Mr Pizza occasionally but I was not thrilled with...
Read moreYesterday our delivery driver delivered our order without wearing a mask. Our driver did not deliver our food to our porch but knocked and waited for a response despite the fact that we prepaid. When I open my door I expect strangers, particularly delivery drivers who I don’t know how many other houses they’ve been to, to be wearing a mask. After speaking to the manager I was told, in her opinion, that the state is not under a mask mandate (this is untrue) because she daily shops in stores without wearing masks and no one tells her otherwise. She was nasty, unapologetic, and told me in the future I would need to request a driver to wear a mask because their drivers do not. When I asked her for her name and the phone number to their corporate offices she told me to use “the google” and abruptly hung up. I returned the pizza to the store and saw those preparing the food with their masks under their chins. They did pull them up to speak to me but otherwise were preparing the food without them. I spoke with corporate today and they were very apologetic and helpful. I would still like to make others aware who may be concerned as I am of the type of service you are receiving from...
