Smokin' Buns Burgers — Restaurant in Van Buren Charter Township

We've had this food doordashed a couple times and found it amazing.

I found myself craving those fries so I decided that's for dinner and this time decided to go get it myself.

Thr burgers are flame grilled with those amazing caramelized edges and the toppings are a perfect complement. (Of course bacon makes everything better, and this is not an exception)

Not reliant on a big puffy bun, I recommend eating it with the wrapper still partially on, or it may get messy in the best possible way.

The fries are the best Ive had. When I feel like fries, Ive been disappointed by other spots when the crisp to soft ratio was off or the salt was too much or not enough. These fries HIT!

I will say it was even better straight from the store than delivery. The vibe is clean and chill with decent music and a simple decor. We ordered, grabbed a can of soda and waited for our order. I was surprised to see it pretty chill on a Friday night, so I am hoping to get the word out that this place is amazing.

Horrible! I arrived on a Saturday around 10:00 pm to an empty restaurant and one worker. The worker was on the phone so I couldn’t tell if he was conversing with me or the phone. He asked me what I wanted and I said the wings. He stated that he couldn’t do wings because of the time it would it take. He then looked at his phone and said, “oh wait, what day is it, we don’t close until 1:00 am. I could tell that he didn’t want to make them and I said if it’s too late I can go somewhere else. He said no that he could make them. I knew by his face and mannerisms that he didn’t want to make them. I thought it was too quick for the wings to be fully cooked but I trusted the process. I took them back to the hotel only to discover them half cooked. I phoned the restaurant but of course he got defensive. If you look at the pictures and the reviews they are high. But if you look at the wings I got you can see that they are not fully cooked. What a waste of...
