Indescribable. Stopped to pick up a doordash order at 1pm Tuesday, December 26th. 1 maybe 2 cars in the drive through. The parking spaces were all full in front pf the building except 2. Must've been the lazy employees took those spots from customers because only 1 person was inside waiting at the register. I asked the man at the register if he'd been helped yet and he said no and that he had been there 10 minutes. I waited a couple minutes and nobody came to the counter or even acknowledged the fact there were customers 5 feet away. Fryer was inactive, 5 "workers" standing around doing absolutely nothing. The person, very short, African American, lgbtqia for the sake of presentation, I presumed to be the manager of this walking dead crew was on and off their cell phone on personal calls constantly running into the back room for long periods of time halting what little there was of production every time they vanished. I asked the short one, how long on dd for (name)? The reply was, any dd orders might want to cancel because they will be a while. I asked how long is a while, shorty's response was, about 10 minutes. I said fine i can wait, as well as 2 other dders that had come in shortly after I arrived. Both cars that had suffered the long wait at the drive thru, both came in after picking up at the window to complain about their orders being completely wrong, not mixed up, but wrong, eliciting a deranged smile from shorty X, like the plan was working. 2 more people cane in and picked up doordash orders with minimal wait. I had been there 30 minutes at that point and asked the vertically challenged one, " how much longer on (name)", and the response was, "I'm canceling the order because I told you it would be a while". I stated. "You said 10 minutes not half an hour, seriously how much longer on my order?" I was told they were not making it and that I needed to leave the store and never come back because I had disrespected the almighty shortrib. I responded not a problem, I wouldn't be back because I wouldn't Subject myself to such gross incompetence again. 3 of them. Shorty X included, started throwing f bombs so I returned a loud f you all and they aggressively rounded the front counter as I was stepping out the door. The rest is just trading expletives and true examples of how not to handle a situation by trying to escalate instead of appropriately descalating the situation. Like they strive to create absolute chaos at every opportunity. I don't know how this particular restaurant stays in business. This crew is very adept at pissing people off simply with slowness, inaction and piss poor attitudes. Upper management would be well advised to can the whole crew that was on duty and hire and train people to be courteous and put focus on customer satisfaction, by making quality food and in a timely manner. You know, the way Wendy's restaurants always used to function. Take some pride in a job well done. Not practice a tryout for the Jerry Springer show. If you want fast friendly service with your best interests as the goal of employees, find another location. If you like confrontations, and being treated with utter disrespect, they have all you can handle. It's...
Read moreStill the worst restaurant in the area, haven't been back since I heard the manager gets very "personal" with the food, STILL haven't heard back from Corporate, and I contacted them more than once, with the promise they'd get back to me. Wendy's does not care about their customers.
MAJOR UPDATE: 03-29-2024 9:35pm The current staff is extremely incompetent and rude for no reason, I ordered through the mobile app, it took almost 40 minutes before I got my order, which was missing an item, it happens, I understand. I have 10 years of experience in fast food, I was patient, went through the drive thru to let them know, I was polite, I thought they'd be, but not today. Man at the drive thru said "we'll get that right out to you if you can pull forward, sorry about that" pulled foreward as requested, waited almost 15-20 mins, our current order getting cold. I saw that man outside bringing food to other people waiting just as long, looking extremely confused on whose order is what, he saw us sitting there and completely ignored us, I ask real quick for an update on my missing item, and he tells me, "they said they put it in the bag, I don't know what to tell you" this is poor customer service, what he should of done was get a manager, I had my receipt and bag ready to show them, but I got "I don't know what to tell you" very tude. They were not short staffed, as I saw about 8 or so people (I could be off, but they definitely had enough people) I don't want to just put the blame on him, because he could be inexperienced, but they should retrain employees. I double checked when I got home, the sandwich definitely was not in there. Terrible location, this'll be my last visit. After research, I've learned that Douglas Corporation Of Michigan owns this Wendy's location, I don't think they have a good track record of running any decent Wendy's in the area, you might be better off going out of state, like Ohio. Usually have no issues with this location, but today it wasn't too great. Ordered a few frosties along with our meal, which they were completely out of. Okay no big deal, I asked to substitute it for a mellow yellow, no problem right? I mean after all they have coke freestyle and the app said they were available when making a drink selection. "We don't have that" news to me, okay how about strawberry lemonade? "We out" settled for regular lemonades, which luckily weren't bad. More so surprised they didn't have their usual drink options. Food wasn't bad, luckily, but the service coulda been better, having experience I get it, but at the same time I hope for the friendly experience, and mutual respect we used to get here. Hopefully next time I visit, they're having...
Read moreUpdate ..it is now a year later 10/17/23 at around 2:00 and nothing has changed. Drive thru is backed up about 12 cars, barely moving at all, and all doors to the inside are LOCKED. I guess indoor dining here is a thing of the past. Everyone else has indoor dining these days. I swore I was done with this place the last time. However I decided to give it a chance. My previous update was a year ago. What has happened to this place and why are the owners and management allowing this kind of service to go on? I notice youâre not allowed to write a new review for this business. Ever since covid so many of these places have went downhill. The excuses are over. I went down the street to Tim Hortons. There was a three car wait.. I ordered a sandwich and was out of there within 10 minutes. If I had stayed at this Wendyâs I would have been there at least an half hour. I then went across the street to Burger King and was out of there in 5 minutes. I looked across at this Wendyâs and half of the same people were still there waiting in the drive thru.
Update .. no indoor dining and 6:00 on a Saturday. If this is the norm after over two years thatâs ridiculous. The Belleville rd location wouldnât take any orders because of their system so we went to the Rawsonville one and as per usual it was backed up to the rd and no indoor dining. The Belleville rd location always closes early according to the time on the website. Since the pandemic these places have totally dropped the ball. Indoor dining restaurants have it together. Why canât sone of these fast food places figure it out by now? Time people start going elsewhere until they do. This location is always backed up. It takes forever for the line to move and half the time they are out of everything. Last time we went they said they have no frosties and had no large cups do they had to divide our cups into two smaller cups. I normally donât write reviews but the two Wendyâs in the Belleville area are falling apart and someone needs to do something. The other location is never opened as late as the time states on the internet. 4 occasions here of late where I ended up going to McDonaldâs instead. Mostly because of the wait time at Rawsonville, and because the Belleville rd location was not opened as late as the...
