As a customer of 99 to 199 and now Legends, I have to say an awesome time is usually had by all. As an employee of Legends it was great getting to know all the amazing customers and coworkers. As far as the cook is concerned I feel a defense is possibly called for, since he has 6 sinks in the kitchen available to him. I have been in the kitchen on numerous and I do mean numerous occasions to him returning to his work area and washing his hands. I have even commented on this several times to him, with him laughing at me. When you have an itch you scratch it for goodness sake, you cannot see what he does when he walks away, there are several sinks he would need to pass from customer visibility to his work area. If a tree falls in your front yard and you do not see it fall, let me assure you it still fell. The cook at Legends has been there for more years than the owner, and receives rave reviews from customers eating his cooking, lol even me and oh God am I picky. You want something bad about Legends, okay it really really needs new carpet. The economy is what the economy is as bar owners are not getting rich off you right now, so the owner does what he can when can do it, And trust me when I tell you, when carpet is in the budget even that will be fixed. The second time we had a younger Bartender and she was sweet but she had to leave and we got stuck with the older bartender female we had the first time and her attitude was worse then the first Time we experienced her. We wanted pull tabs, never got any. She claimed She was busy. There was 2 bartenders and maybe a total of 8 people a In the place. We waited 25 min for her to ask us for A refill, she never checked up on us. We had one drink for the hour we were there. The food was great, the service was horrible. Read moreClam chowder was cold which was a bit off setting. It made me wonder if it was kept at temp all day or if it sat while the rest of the food was getting ready. I did eat it and take the chance. Burgers were a bit chewy and overcooked. The bartender paid more attention to the two people at the bar (one seemed to be a daytime cook just getting off work ) then the two tables that were ordering and wanting food. The manager came by earlier in our visit and was friendly and asked about our day. This was way before we even ordered. Wasn’t the best experience overall. Not sure I would go out of my way to go back. We did not have to wait for a table but glad we not already got our drinks I would have left in the time it took her to come...
