Birrieria PDX Hazel Dell — Restaurant in Vancouver

The food was amazing, both the California burrito and the Wet Burrito were straight fire! Props to the Chefs for holding things together over there and taking me to flavor town! The sauces were amazing, very well flavored, and the meat was well portioned.

There wasn't any line when I got there for pickup for my online order and I wrote a note for extra sauces. When I asked about them, the server said she put them in my bag already and turned away. When I got home only 2 tiny sauces were in the bag for 2 giant burritos! I went back and she was kind enough to give me more after I expressed my disappointment, but I had to drive back and wait for them.

Part of my experience with a new mexican restaurant or cart is trying their sauces. For me it's a deciding factor if I'll be back or not. If you order, make sure to tell them directly at the window that you want at least 2-3 sauces for each meal. I'd estimate 0.25-0.5 oz. thimbles of sauce each.

I pass this area alot & had been waiting for them to open as my bf & I have been looking for a good birria spot. Finally, I had seen the open sign, but didn't have time to stop that day. Fast forward to a few days later, I see a fb ad pop up advertising their grand opening & $1 tacos. Figured that'd be a good time to try it out.

Decided to go kinda between lunch & dinner in hopes the line wouldn't be too long. Turned out to be a good move as my friend went for dinner & the line was long. There were maybe 5 or 6 people in front me but the line moved quick.

I got 3 Carne asada, 3 birria tacos, consome & the watermelon juice drink with Chamoy on the rim. Figured I'd be waiting a bit & it was hot out there, so that drink hit the spot. The birria was good, I wouldn't say best I've had, but definitely satisfied the craving. The Carne asada though was so yummy. So much flavor & meat was soft.

Considering how busy they were. Everyone got their food pretty quick. They had a lot of people working in there, so props to them. Definitely want to try the other items...

This food cart recently opened and we just had to try it. We had two Burritos PDX, a taco plate with 3 tacos and a Birria Fries. The burritos were covered in crispy cheese and they were amazing. All the food was cooked to perfection and the amount of meat in each plate was awesome. The amount of food you get for the price is awesome, at least two full meals, for 3 people, for
