hello to all burgerville customers- hazel dell ..today sunday july 18 8:07:44 pm we ordered our food in drive-thru ahead of us it was full of carts waiting to order it took us a few minutes waiting the cashier us took the order and after arriving to pay, he repeated the order to us when we got to the other window to take our food, turning around, we checked the food and we noticed that an order of potatoes was missing, we re-formed to claim the missing potatoes to the or go through the second window, a man approached and told us that I can help you. I showed him the note and I commented that an order of potatoes was missing. The man with the name of (Dan) apparently was the manager, he refused to give them parents. While seeing the order we asked for, he refused, we repeated that they forgot to place an order for potatoes, he sent us to the front of the entrance to wait for the order for potatoes, we lost more than half an hour and an employee came out to deliver an order outside and I said hello Pedro we are waiting for an order of potatoes that you forgot, the friendly one apologized to me and I told him that our food was already cold. Pedro asked me for the receipt and told me that the aria again seemed fair to me and Pedro went into the restaurant and after a while (Dan) came out very rude and annoying, he yelled at us that he could not give us hot food, only the potatoes, I told him that I only fought my potatoes and that waiting for the food to get cold he offended me and my family I asked him if his position was manager of the afternoon shift and annoyed he told me that he did not know and he turned around and left us with the words in his mouth he ignored us and went to the store we felt bad and discriminated against by (Dan) we went home sad with you our cold food. scolded and to top it all when reviewing the burgers one was wrong I ordered it with two meats and it came out with one we had a bad...
Read moreUgh. I usually really like burgerville, but this time...... wow. I used the drive through for the first time. I asked for a few minutes to determine what everyone wanted (4 people in car). I began ordering.... the waitress seemed slow, but not too bad at first. Then she begins talking over me.... I guess she needed to know which buttons to push on her pictogram fast food register. She was so concerned with talking over me that she could not hear me asking THREE times if she knew we wanted meals. When she didn't respond, I finally had to yell, " Did you get those as MEALS????????!!!!!!!!" We had to then discuss the meal or no meal a bit more, and I continued ordering. I ordered the pepper bacon blue burger, fries and a coke. She reads it all back, just like I ordered it. Good... on to the window to pay. I'm irritated, but not angry yet. She charged me $33.00 for four meals..... this is a burger joint by the way.... fast food. I am never coming here again. So because the price is psychotic, I am reading the receipt...... and I see that there are only THREE fries for FOUR people..... what the actual f*. So I asked her what the hell this crap was on the receipt and she said that she thought I said DRY instead of fries...... really????????? So I had to demand the fries that I already ordered. By then I was so pissed I just took them and left. When I opened my pepper bacon blue burger, it was just some gross plain burger smothered in pickles and onions. Read moreWhat was once my go to place for delicious beef alternative burgers, has now proven to no longer be of interest or use. They removed the turkey burger from the menu, and their veggie burger, while well flavored, had a sicky sweet taste which completely ruined my desire for a BURGER. I don't understand why people think beef replacement shouldn't have the same flavor definitions...yes, I don't want it to taste like beef, or replicate beef's assault on my stomach enzymes like Beyond, but I still want a SAVORY experience.
Next disappointment, extraordinarily salt fries...inedible level salt...AND lukewarm at best...the fries I hesitated to order, and talked myself into, quickly balked their way out of my meal.
I've justified the cost of BV because it had what I wanted, was warm / fresh, and met a specified craving I'm left lingering with even now...if they are going to provide crap products at the same ridiculous price point...they're going to continue to decline and ultimately fall away.
So why 3 stars...those kids were working their butts off! Their customer service was through the roof, and their subtle upselling was on point...not too much pressure, but enough to make me rethink my decisions. It's rare to find both in play these days...so kudos to them...they saved this from the 0 star review...
