Fortside Brewing Company — Restaurant in Vancouver

What a treat. I’ve seen this place many times but never taken the time to stop. Today, my wife wanted to stop before we went grocery shopping and I was pleasantly surprised. Very cool hard wood decor and some cool vintage Vancouver photos on the wall. I like how the garage door opens the inside up and creates a nice breeze on a warm afternoon.. but this is really about the beer. Good selection from some very session-able beers, to stronger pours. A great variety of ipa’s to boot. Fortunately this is close enough to home we will be back again very soon. The taco truck was delicious but a bit spendy.. I guess everything is getting more expensive but the burrito did feed both my wife and I! Can’t wait...

What an absolute gem! The inside is spacious with plenty of seating. The atmosphere is clean, comfy, and laid back. You can tell a lot of thought was put into making this place. Not only is it a great place to hang out and watch a game, but the beers are solid. I tried 6 flights and every one I would be happy getting a pint of. The slushies are also a lot of fun to try! The tacos are absolutely amazing! The tortillas are fresh and full of amazing flavors! The staff are great to talk to and super knowledgeable about everything they serve. I'm not much of a beer drinker myself so I'm glad they had a couple slushee options! Visited for the first time today with my husband and we'd probably come back again. The food menu confused me a little bit because it said they had pork char siu banh mi but apparently it's a flavor you can choose for the nachos or burritos, not an actual banh mi (which is a Vietnamese baguette sandwich).
